"you let him go now" i clench my jaw as i pointed my gun at him hoping he won't do anything stupid
"you're quiet funny McCann , you see" he paused as i heard his gun clicking meaning he was ready to shoot anytime , my palms started to sweat for some reason
"you thought that you would go away with barging inside my warehouse , while i was enjoying my time with that beautiful girl of yours" he smirks as he readjusts his arm around Zac's neck still looking at me , he was trying to push my buttons and it was working
"taking her from me , you had your chance to kill me , but you were a pussy to do it" he chuckles , now that i was boiling inside , i was ready to shoot him right in the head
"we're here for Josh" Xander stepped beside me , his gun in his hand aiming at Mason who still had a smirk on his face , suddenly , Zac kicks him in his knee , sending him off guard , his gun falls on the ground as Zac takes the chance to grab Mason's gun aiming it to his head
"nice save Thyssen" he said getting up smirking like always
i crack a bullet ready to shoot without thinking but i feel Zac's hand on my arm and it all came back
"Jason don't" she said as she touched my arm
"don't do it" she cried
i shake my head at the thought of her crying and i take a deep breath ,
"McCann!" he yells at the top of his lungs , i move my arms to the left shooting him in his arm instead Zac yanks me as he was running up the stairs looking for Josh
"didn't i tell you not to ?" he spat
"why won't you let me kill him for god's sake , he's laid his hands on my girl and one of our guys , god dammit Thyssen" i yell
"because we don't want cops up our asses McCann , haven't you learned anything when you were taken away for a year?" he said as his voice became softer now
"i don't give a shit its what he deserves"
" IN HERE" Xander yelled as he held the door open , we both jogged to where he was and entered this room , finding him on the ground , passed out , practically drowning in his own blood
"HUNTER SNAP OUT OF IT" i yell as i see him standing speechless doing nothing , he was new , he reminded me of myself 3 years ago , scared yet reckless , i grab Josh lifting his head up
"Josh ?"
"diego come on buddy , you're fine" Zac said as he bends down next to me , he coughs in response as he tries to open his eyes , he was weak and we needed to get him to the nearest hospital
"Bloom , Hunter , lift him up we need to get the fuck out of here" Zac yells as he gets up, grabbing me by the arm dragging me out , grabbing his gun he starts to run leaving me behind him , as we reached the stairs we jog down the stairs hoping no one would see us
"fuck!" i groan as i grab my arm , looking at my hand who was now blood stained , i shake iut off and run after Zac not knowing who shot me

as we got into our SUV , i rest my head back grabbing my arm groaning again grabbing Xander's attention
"McCann you're bleeding"
"you don't fucking say" i snap
"we're almost there hang on" he said and i nod in response
my phone started to ring , sighing , i take it out of my pocket , my heart dropped as i looked at the caller's ID , she's calling me
"hello?"
"Jason what's going on ? are you okay?" she said her voice cracking as if she was about to cry
"everything's fine , you don't have to worry baby" i say smiling for the first time in hours
"when are you coming back?"
"soon princess , i love you"
"i love you too" she sighed and hung up , shutting my eyes for a second
"everything okay with your girl?" Zac said as he looked at me and then to the road
"yeah" i smiled

"Mr diego?" a nurse called and we all snapped our heads up looking into her direction as we all got up anxious to know if he's okay
"yes?" Zac answered
"are you guys family?" she asked
"his brothers" he said and she nods
"follow me please" she smiled
"how is he doing ?" i asked
"he lost a lot of blood , luckily we were able to save him , he's sleeping now ,you can see him" she smiled as she held the door open for us , Marcus was the last one standing , checking her out
"i should come here more often" he smirks making her blush as she leaves him
"i'll see you later" he shouts making Zac hit him at the back of his head
"you're an idiot Hunter" he rolls his eyes
