Chapter 1: the judgement

(Y/N) POV
Where am I...? I asked myself "huh? Tachiki? TACHIKI?!!" I ran towards him "Tachiki? Why are you crying? Ta-" My eye's widened as I saw my dead body in a hospital bed "n-no... NO NO NO NO TACHIKI TELL ME THIS IS A JOKE!!" I demanded to the crying boy, but he didn't answer. "TACHIKI DON'T...ignore...me...please..." I started crying and tried to hug him but passed though making him shiver "h-huh? Who's there?! SHOW YOURSELF!" He growled. "T-Tachiki..." I backed away and ran. I ran faster and faster until I blacked out for some reason but before I fell into the darkness a voice whispered "guilty"

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around seeing a huge city up ahead and the red sky. I was startled when I heard an announcement "ATTENTION, A NEW DEMON HAS ARRIVED PLEASE COME TO THE COUNCIL TO REGISTER YOURSELF" my eyes started to tear "I-I'm a demon...? B-but I thought they got rid of my sins..." my voice cracked while thinking of that day

My, now bully, best friend walked towards me with a knife "didn't I tell you to die?! Do you think you can live on this planet?! You don't even stand a chance against what they are!!" She looked down at my cowering form and laughed "your pathetic you can't even stand up for yourself!!" She tried to stab me... well she TRIED... and failed since my reflexes took control and twisted her arm, grabbing the knife and stabbing her until she was nothing but guts and bones... I panicked and ran to the nearest church... "father please forgive me for I have sinned... father please forgive me for I have sinned... f-father please f-forgive me.... for I h-have sinned..." after a short while a voice responded "what did you do my child?" "I-I killed someone..." I heard a soft gasp and a door open. I looked up to find the priest in front of me in shock "my child why did you murder someone" he asked "well... father she kept telling me I was hopeless and tried to attack me with a knife... but my reflexes kicked in and harshly took the knife from her before stabbing her..." my eyes watered. The priest placed a hand on my head "my child what you have done is unforgivable but I will pray for you tonight, if you come back tomorrow I will have answers" my eyes sparkled as I smiled "thank you father"
The next day I woke up early to go back to that same church to pray and wait for the priest. He told me that my sins were forgiven and god had a place in heaven for me...
He lied

I wiped away some tears and headed towards the huge city. On my way I saw a lot of demons in all shapes and forms, when I reached the council I looked at the person behind the counter and was handed a form. I looked down at it and sighed. "Here goes nothing..." I signed my name in it and was wrapped in a red light and floated up. When my feet touched the ground my appearance was way different:
My eyes where (E/C)
My hair was (H/L) (H/C)
And I had pointy cat like horns and two small black bat wings

I gasped slightly at the feeling of the wings and looked behind me. After the transformation i was told to leave. I wandered through the streets and sighed "where do I go...? I mean I don't have a place to sta-" I was cut off by a flyer on the ground. I picked it up and read "the happy hotel? I don't think I have any other option right now..." I looked at the address and started walking.

I finally reached the hotel after a 30 minute search and was greeted by demons walking in and out of the building. "It must be busy" I thought and entered. A smiling deer looking demon looked at me. "Hello there" he spoke with an radio like voice. I avoided his stare and softly muttered if I could get a room. "What was that my dear?" My eyes shot up "I-I was wondering if I could get a room..." his smile got bigger, if even possible. "Wait here" he simply said and I sat down in one of the chairs. A few minutes later he came back with a demon with long blond hair and the most happiest personality I've ever seen. "Hello! And welcome to the happy hotel!" She smiles and held out her hand "I'm Charlotte but you can call me Charlie!" I took her hand and shook it "(Y/N)" I said softly and smiled "so (Y/N) why do you want to join the happy hotel?" I looked at her "do you want to get rid of a drinking problem or maybe..." she kept talking and my thoughts wandered off. "Hey (Y/N)? Heeeelllooooo?" I looked at Charlie confused "huh...? What's wrong?" She giggled "I was asking what you're here for?" I immediately looked away "I-uh..." I looked up at her and sighed "I killed someone... I felt horrible and a few months later I picked up the drinking problem like my dad... I got addicted to it and began to... 'experiment' with all sorts of alcoholic drink and later even drugs..." I looked at the ground and a few seconds later I felt a warm embrace, my eyes widened and I looked at Charlie "don't worry here we can help you get over your problem! You just need to sign up for the program and if needed we can give you a room!" I hugged her back "thank you but aren't you busy with other customers?" She looked at me smiling "they usually are here for the rehabilitation programs so there's always a free room" I nodded and decided to stay.

After a while of filling in some papers, I was brought to my room by the smiling deer demon "thank you....uh...." I said as he opened the door "Alastor" he smiled "thank you Alastor" I smiled back and walked into my room as he closed the door behind me. I looked around to see a soft bed with red covers and jumped on it immediately sinking into the soft material. "I... could get used to it"
