A Burning Hatred

Kath's POV

"Thank you Atlanta!! You were amazing, good night!!"

We all come off stage with smiles on our faces. This was our last show before the end of the tour and we could now go home and rest. We loved touring, don't get us wrong, but it tires us to the core.

"You all were AMAZING!! I have never been so proud of you all!" Christina said in hysteric, sounding like she might cry happily. This makes me smile to see my siblings so happy. She eventually excused herself to go to the bathrooms and Lauren went with her. I think Lisa and Dani went to get some refreshments and that left me with Amy.

"You know Ames, I think you did absolutely outstanding. I honestly thought I was gonna cry through some of the songs." I say to her as she smiled a little, knowing I was telling the truth. And indeed I was, she makes me so happy everyday

"Wow thanks Kath, I really appreciate that." She says as I smile a little more, my heart melting on the inside. How am I so blessed to have someone so sweet and kind as Amy for a sister? Was it luck, fate or even in my destiny?

That feeling has never stopped since the day she turned 18. She became legal. Legal for me to date. Yes, its against our religion but like our parents say, it doesn't matter about religion, we go with our hearts and what will make us happy, that will make them parents happy.

That happiness soon came to an end when I saw the one person I dread to see, Malcolm. He was my ex boyfriend and he is now dating Amy. I honestly don't why he would choose someone so pure and naive. Well, as long as shes happy, Im happy but I still have a burning hatred towards him.

"Hey there baby, slaying it, as always. Come on, lets get back to the hotel, your gonna need LOTS of sleep." He says with that devilish smirk. Amy looked up at me, not sure how to feel. I recognised that smirk, it was the smirk he was scheming.

"Uh, I think I might go with my sisters." She says and stands a little closer to me. Weird. She has never felt uncomfortable with him around me before. Unless he has been doing something to her that we are unaware of. If so, he is a dead man.

"Now! You will come right now!!!" He yelled, a little angry as she sighed and went over to him. That made me smile as he wrapped an arm around her and the two left. My blood was boiling at this point as Christina came back with Lauren.

"Whats up Kath?" She asked me as I try to not let it get the better of me. I dont know why but I feel like she feels unsafe with him, like he actually is hurting her or did something to her. If I find out he did, he will not be walking again, I swear!

"He came for her..." I say coldly yet bitterly which made Christina also kind of annoyed since she also hated him before she knows that I like Amy. And she told me that she liked Lauren.

"Not wanting to be rude but why do you hate him so much Kath?" Lauren asks as now both of them are looking at me now. It was a long story but I might as well say.

"It all started a few months ago..." I start, letting my mind bring me back to that horrific time...

Flashback:

I had just gotten back to the flat. I am kind of tired and I wanted to talk to Malcolm about something. However I heard some noises from the bedroom. Strange...I cautiously started to approach the bedroom door and opened it. There he was on top of another woman.

"MALCOLM WHAT THE HELL?!?" I yelled as he moved off the woman who I can now see that she had been crying. Did he...oh HELL NO!!

"She wanted it Kath!" He yelled back as he threw a vase against the wall, almost hitting me.

"I never wanted it!" She screamed as I felt myself become enraged and picked up the shard of smashed base and pointed it at his neck.

"IF YOU DON'T TELL ME THE TRUTH I WILL END YOU NOW!!" I screamed yet again as the girl pulled me away and got the shard out of my hand. I was felt with so much rage and extremely upset.

"So that's why you hate him so much." Lauren asks and I nod. I just hope he doesn't hurt her otherwise he will be getting it in the throat this time...and no one will hold me back.
