Author’s note: I know most characters don’t act like this, and I for sure don’t own any of these characters except the ones I made up. It’s just a fanfiction because why not; I don’t think this is much for Twilight while it is for Jackson Rathbone. enjoy reading :)

Prologue

Moving to Forks took a lot of strength, my mind wasn’t ready to except what had happened within the past year. How could anyone recover from what I had gone through, but you see it everywhere that people just do. I thought I was losing everyone around me; like it was just me and grandma now. My mother was 14 when she met my father, she was ill, deadly ill, and was told she wouldn’t see her 18th birthday. That didn’t stop them from falling in love; my mom asked one thing of my father. She wanted to experience everything she could before she died. My father interpreted that as she wanted what every girls wants; a family, wedding, and every other girly dream. Married at 15, but didn’t get to see the days after I was born; she died while giving birth. It just made my dad love me more, he made sure my everything was met and more. But he never thought to tell me that he had cancer; I guess the Heavens just wanted my family to be filled with the deadly ill. When he passed on I couldn’t take it anymore; was it the nightmares or the fact I cut myself off of life. Which made my grandmother choose to move us to Forks; the town she grew up in before moving away for college.

“Justice, sweetheart are you listening to me?” My grandmother’s voice filled the silent car as she drove us from the airport. I tore myself from my thoughts and looked at her, she was rather young being as she herself was young when she had my mother to begin with. “Sorry grandma,” I mumbled as I watched her brown eyes fill with concern. “Stop thinking about the past, we’re here to start over, don’t tell me you don’t want your second last year of high school to be boring.” She was trying to move on, I could see it in her eyes, but as she looked to the road her eyes returned to normal. I sighed and let my head rest against the window, the weather was just how I liked it. I watched the raindrops hit the roads as we made our way to her old house, “Now the housekeepers have kept the house really pretty for us, they even made a room just for you,” I drowned out my grandmother as she continued to tell me about how she loved Forks.

Once we got to the house I looked around at the glass house; it was cabin style in the middle of the forest. It was beautiful, like it was pulled out from a movie scene; next thing I knew the plants would start singing and dancing. I went upstairs to where I was told my room was located. My door was a deep dark green, as I opened the door I was shocked how my grandmother managed to tell the reno team what I truly loved. The room had some pictures from my old room, but the new thing was two of the walls were chalkboard. Dropping my purse on the king sized bed I went into the walk in closet; all my things were already here and I was overjoyed.

“Grandma!” I yelled as I ran through the rest of the house, she was in the front yard talking to a man in a police car. “Oh Justice come here, I want you to meet someone,” my grandma motioned me to come forward; as which I did. “Justice, this is Chief Swan,” I smiled weakly at him, he looked like he was in his mid 40’s. “Just call me Charlie,” Charlie smiled back at me, while he looked back at my grandmother. “You should bring Justice over sometime, Bella just came back herself a few months ago,” Charlie told my grandmother. Great just what I needed, ideas for my grandmother to try and make me social. “That’s a great idea, won’t they be attending the same high school as well?” I suppose I would tell her later, so I simply walked away towards the house.

*******

I don’t know what happened to me, one minute I was watching TV in my room and the next I was being woken up by my grandmother for school. I had to be there earlier than most so I got ready as quick as I could. After taking a shower I pulled on a pair of dark washed jeans and a dark purple hoodie over myself. Letting my natural waves settle in I quickly grabbed a cup of coffee and went into our car. I drove to Forks High School, it looked old and grey; even as the weather wasn’t as bad a yesterday. I parked in the first parking spot I could find and I went to the main office. An old lady sat there with a frown on her face; smiling towards her I mumbled to myself as she looked up and smiled like she had won the lottery.

“Good morning how can I help you?” she had an old smoker voice, it was pretty damn cool to hear it besides in the movie. “I’m new here, I was told to get my things from here,” I replied as I stood on the other side of the desk. “Ah yes Rosen-Justice Knightly I’m assuming,” she stated looking at me, I nodded and smiled back. “Well here is everything you’ll need for this year, have a good day Ms. Knightly,” with that I took the piles of papers and shoved them in my bag. As I made my way through the halls I found myself in the English class, I sat down in a random spot in the back of the class.

I sat there scrolling down my apps on my phone as I sensed another person in the room; looking up I saw a honey hair boy. He was quite tall from my angle, and he looked like he was in pain. Mumbling to myself again I greeted the boy, “Hi,” he looked at me like I was some sort of alien creature. “Hi,” he replied back with such hesitation, until a pixie haired girl came in after him; “Hi I’m Alice,” she was a little too overjoyed. “Justice,” I replied as they took a seat next to me, continuing to scroll down my phone I watched as they watched me.

“Can I um help you?” I asked looking at them weirdly, “Oh no just wondering about you,” Alice replied sweetly. “Well you can just ask, I’m not a book people can read, so if you’re curious asking always works,” I replied as I put my phone down. “Well why not sit with us during lunch, I’m sure the rest of the Cullen’s would love to get to know you.” With that class had started and it went on like any usual English class. Around 12pm the bell for lunch rang; I made my way to the lunch room and looked around, I hadn’t seen Alice or that honey haired boy since english so I suppose I was looking around for them.

“Justice!” I heard Alice’s voice call from the other side of the lunch room, which meant all eyes went on me as I made my way over. I heard whispers, “Who’s she?” “Is she another Cullen?” I drowned them out as I made my way to Alice, I sat in the empty chair next to her and looked at the other people at the table. “Justice this is Emmett, Rosalie, Edward, Bella and Jasper you’ve already met. Guys this is Justice,” Alice said as she pointed to everyone. They all started at me like I was the ill person when in fact they’re the one’s who look pale as a ghost. Getting sick of their staring I stated, “Take a picture it last longer,” Emmett and Edward were the only ones to laugh at my comment. And in that moment I thought, “Yup this school year is going to suck.”
