Yugi's POV
I woke up to the cold unforgiving air of Winter flinging my window open. It was the beginning of Winter, we were on Winter break. I quickly put on some warm clothes, grabbed my puzzle and ran over to Anzu's house. I ran too fast as I skidded right into the door. *you okay partner?* 《I just slammed face first into a door, do you think I'm ok》 *jeez, just checking, no need to snap at me* 《sorry Yami, it just really hurt》 *it's ok, I don't think you have to knock after that little fiasco I'm sure the whole neighborhood knows you're here* 《Haha very funny》 Anzu opened the door looking concerned after hearing that loud bang against her door. "You okay Yugi" she asked. "Ya, just skidded on the ice and right into your door but I'm fine" I reassured her. "Ok, why don't you come in, it's cold even for the beginning of Winter" she said pulling me through the door. 《If it's this cold at the beginning of Winter, imagine how much colder it will be as Winter continues》 *please be sure to stay warm, I don't want you to freeze* 《ya, it's a good thing I have extra fluffy blankets in my closet》 *so does Anzu's parents have this party at the beginning of every Winter?* 《yes, the only reason I come is because Anzu doesn't want to be alone with a bunch of rich snobs》 *that's sweet of you to do that for her* 《I care about Anzu but I really wish she would ask someone else, I get mocked about my size every time I come, no matter what happens I want you to promise you won't play your shadow games with anyone here》 *what do you mean, do people hurt you when you're here?* 《sometimes, also don't tell Anzu about this, she doesn't know and I know she'll feel guilty for bringing me here》 *ok, but if things get out of hand, I will tell her* 《ok》 I did my best to hide as some of the more aggressive people walked by but a group of them found me and dragged me into one of the unoccupied rooms. "Let me go!" I shouted. "Aww the pipsqueak is trying to act tough" one of the boys said. "Who would bring someone as weak and pathetic as him?" The only girl in the group asked. "I don't know Tina, but they're going to regret it" the leader replied. "Tristan, tie his hands" the leader said. The third man was off in a corner waiting for his command. "Jason, secure him to the chain hanging from the ceiling" the leader commanded the third man. They took turns beating me until the leader told them to take a break. 《There going to kill me, what do I do?》 *hope for a miracle* 《I'm scared Yami》 *I know, it's going to be ok* 《how can you be sure》 *Anzu will notice your missing and come look for you* the leader stood up before turning to his followers "finish the job boys" he said as the two men stepped closer. 《YAMI!》 The longer they continued the harder it became to breathe *Yugi!* suddenly the door was kicked open and there stood 《Kaiba! Didn't expect that》 Kaiba had been watching this group for some time and had alerted the police to their whereabouts. I let out a small whimper to get Kaiba's attention "Yugi!?" Kaiba said shocked. He then turned to the group "not only did you rob people but you had the audacity to hurt my tiny kitten! If it were up to me I would ditch you in the desert and watch you suffer!" Kaiba growled actually punching their leader in the face. Kaiba untied me and carried me over to his table, where Mokuba sat waiting for him "Seto, is that Yugi? Did those people do this to him" Mokuba asked concerned. "Yes Mokuba, I hope they suffer for what they did!" Seto growled. "I know Yugi came here with Anzu but he's coming home with us, his so called friends didn't even know where he was" Seto replied angrily before commanding Mokuba to follow as he carried me to the helicopter.
Seto's POV
Anzu came running after us screaming to give Yugi back. My brother found my response hilarious "look at all the fucks I don't give, look at them Anzu" I said throwing a crumpled ball of paper at Anzu that said I don't give a fuck before commanding the pilot to bring us back home. We practically just kidnapped Yugi, I didn't care about that. My attention was towards taking care of the injured boy. I ordered all of my doctors to tend to Yugi. "His friends don't deserve someone as precious as Yugi but I can't really keep him, even though I want to, it's his choice though" I said. "I would love if Yugi would stay with us, he would be a lot safer here" Mokuba responded. I smiled "I would too Mokaba" I stood up before looking at the time "we should get to sleep Mokuba" I said before heading upstairs to my room. "Good night big brother" Mokuba responded before heading to his room. I'm going to need all the sleep I can get because I'm going to get hell from Yugi's friends for kidnapping Yugi. 'Who cares, they can jump in a frozen pond for all I care' I thought.
[The next morning]
I went to check on little Yugi, what I saw made me smile. Mokuba and Yugi were building a castle out of legos, they seemed really happy. I've never seen my little brother so happy before, except when he's around Yugi. Yugi seems to like it here "Yugi?" I questioned. "Ya Seto?" Yugi asked. "Um, I wanted to ask you if you would like to live here with Mokuba and me? You would still go to the same school and see your friends" I asked. He tilted his head thinking about my question. 'Why does he have to be so adorable' I mentally shouted. "I would love to but I can't leave my grandpa alone" Yugi replied. I saw my brother's smile fade, I quickly thought of a solution to Yugi's problem "your grandpa can live here too, it would be better for both of you" I quickly replied. Yugi smiled "ok, it's a lot warmer here than my house" Yugi chirped. "There are a few rules I would like you to follow, don't worry there more to keep you safe. The rule I want you to know right now is, you are not allowed to bring your male friends to my house, Anzu is allowed to be here for however long you like" I told Yugi. He tilted his head in thought once again before looking up at me "may I ask why Jonouchi and Honda aren't allowed to be here but Anzu is?" Yugi asked confused. 'Stop being so cute' "um, I don't like Jonouchi and Honda won't shut up about beautification and how the world would be a better place if people beautify themselves" I replied. Yugi seemed to agree with the second half of my statement but looked confused on why I didn't like Jonouchi "it's not like I hate Jonouchi, I just don't like him either" I tried to explain. "What my big brother is trying and failing to say is that he's just jealous that Jonouchi steals most of your attention away" Mokuba said nonchalantly. I blushed "shut up and go to bed Mokaba" I said. "Whatever you say big brother" Mokuba responded before heading to his room. "Good night" I said before fleeing to my room.
