Friends With Aaliyah Mendes

Birthday!

After I woke up, I took a shower; creating beach waves. Then I  put on a outfit.

I walked down staris to see my mom making coffee.

She walked over to me and gave me a reat big hug, " Ahhh, my little girl is growing up." I laughed and hugged her back.

She took a box with a little bow on the top of it.

She handed me it and opened it.

Inside was a beautiful golden necklace on a thin chain.

I smiled and hugged her once more.

" I love it! Thank you so much mom!" 

She laughed, " Your so welcome sweetie. Now where do you ant to go get lunch?" We deiceded where to get lunch and then we left.

After lunch I told her about me going over to the Mendes' in a couple hours.

She just said be safe, since she will be at work.

Before I went over to the Mendes' I had about 4 hours so I just watched Gossip girl and Teen Wolf.

Before I left I changed into something more adult like.

I put on a white long sleeve shirt with a plain dark green kinda jean skirt, with 4 buttons going up the middle.

I walked to Aaliyah's house.

Aaliyah opened the door when I knocked.

She hugged me, " Happy Birthday Sky!" 

I laughed.

I saw Shawn walking in with a glass of water in his hands.

He stopped in his tracks when he saw me. He took the glass of water away from his lips, " Wow." He said staring at me.

That made me smile.

Mrs. Mendes came in, " I'm so sorry Skylar, Dinner is almost ready, but Aaliyah I need your help."

Before she walked away she yelled, " Shawn keep her company!" 

Shawn took me to their living room.

We sat down.

" you look very mature...."

I tok a deep breath.

Shawn stood up and moved closer to me, " and Gorgeous... very gorgeous."

I just looked into his dark brown eyes, and melted.

Then I heard his mom yell, " Shawn Sweetie! Dinner is ready, come."

When I stood up Shawn asked if he could take my jacket for me.

I took off my jacket and left the living room without Shawn.

When I entered the kitchen it smelled amazing.

I sat down next to Aaliyha with Shawn coming shortly after.

When everyone got their plates I thanked Mrs. Mendes for making the best pasta I have ever tasted.

For the remainder time with everyone finshing the pasta, Aaliyha and I talked about school and sports teams. I always got a couple questions about my family. 

I told them that my mom is always on night shirt at Central Toronto Hospital.

After dinner Mr. Mendes was washing the dishes, Shawn and I were drying them and Aaliyah and her mother were cleaning off the counters and table.

Aaliyah shouted out, " guess what Shawn made you for dessert!"

I said witty, " Muffins."

Shawn looked me with a smirk, " funny. HA HA. But, sadly no."

" what then? 

Aaliyah smiled, " brownies, with vanilla ice cream on top."

That was my all time favorite dessert.

I smiled at Shawn, " how did you know that was my favorite?"

He laughed, " because i'm smart."

I hit him with my dish towl.

He laughed at me.

After we ate dessert it wa time to open presents.
