Ellie's POV

I hear a knock on the door. I am hoping it is Luke, but at the same time, I dread talking to him again. I am afraid to start another argument.

"Mum," I hear a soft voice say. It's Ansley. I can't help but be slightly disappointed.

"Come in sweetie," I whisper. She walks in and look at me.

"Mum, were you crying?" she asks, horrified. I give her a hug and she sobs.

"I don't even like him!" she exclaims, "I just feel like I have to have a date!  What do I do mum?!"  She asks, sobbing into my shirt. I just hold her closer and soft tears fall down my cheeks.

"Only you can decide that Ansley," I tell her, "This is all your choice. You don't have to be pressured if you stand up for yourself. But if you choose to be pressured, I don't know what to say for you."

"I don't think I want to go to the formal," she says, sniffing. "You from ha e too," I tell her, "You can stay home if you want too."

"Mum, did you and daddy fight?" she asks, "Are you mad at each other?"  "I'm pretty sure he left the house," I whisper. She hugs me tighter and cries. "I'm so sorry!" she exclaims.

"It's not your fault," I tell her.

"Yes it is," she says, "And I'll make it up to you both...somehow. I promise, I'm so sorry."

"You don't have to baby, your father is just being a, as much as I hate to say it, dick," I tell her. She lets go of me. "I'm sorry," she says again before leaving the room.

Wes' POV

I decide it's best to leave the house before mum and dad start fighting. I check my schedule, Eleanor's dad won't be home today.

I grab some money and start jogging down to her house.

I stop at a grocery store along the way and get some ice cream. Eleanor basically lives off of reject food at her house.

As soon as I get there, I check for her dad's car. It isn't there. I knock on the door and she quickly opens it, pulling me in for a huge hug.

"Hi Wes," she says. "Hi El, how are you?" I ask. "Dad's gone on a two week business trip!" she exclaims. "That's great!" I exclaim in reply, holding out the ice cream.

She is quick to grab one and we run inside with them. I get two spoons and we sit on th couch together and eat gladly.

"So, how's it going at the Hemmings house?" she asks. I shrug. "I left when a fight was surely about start, but it was over something stupid," I tell her.

"Oh that sucks," she replies. "Yeah, it was over Ansley wanting to go to that dance with Harry," I tell her.

"He's a dick head, she'd better not," Eleanor replies. I nod. "I am almost worried about the bitch," I say, taking in a huge spoonful of ice cream.

"You should be extremely worried," I tell him, "I hate how much peer pressure she gets, and besides, she is your sister. You should love her to pieces."

"Maybe if she stopped being such a conceited twat," I say, "And stopped correcting my swearing. When I swear, I mean to swear. She's just like Uncle Ashton."

Uncle Ashton gets on my last nerve constantly. All the, "Stop swearing Wes," and the, "Weston, please listen to my rules," shit really bothers me.

And it's not like I'm a bad guy, I'm still a virgin, I swear. And I'm nice to everyone, as I always have been. If anything, he should always be picking at Ansley.

"Well, I'm always here," she says, smiling. "That's why you're my bestest friend!" I exclaim, making her laugh.

We continue to eat until I absolutely have to leave because it's getting late. I jog home and walk into the living room.

"Where have you been?" dad asks as soon as I enter the house. He is laying on the couch with a bag of chips, bloodshot eyes, and an obvious drunken state.

"I would ask the same to you," I reply, sitting on the couch across from hi.  He honestly is making my sky rocketing mood down into hell.

"Your mum and I had a fight," he says, "And I went to the bar with Uncle Calum and Uncle Jack. I'm trying to be totally honest here, and so should you. Where were you?"

My dad and I have a really tight bond, he doesn't lie to me, so I don't lie to him.

"At Ethan's house," I lie, though I mentally shoot myself for lying to my father after he told me everything.

"Okay," he says, his hoarse voice stabs into my heart. I feel like some heartless jerk.

He motions for me to sit by him. I do, and he gives he a hug. "I don't know what to do," he whimpers, "We haven't really ever fought before like this, in a long time."

"Do what your heart says to do," I tell him.

That's all I can say.

Luke's POV

I get up and go upstairs. I fix myself up in the bathroom so I don't look like some druggie.

As soon as I am finished, I very guitar and knock on our bedroom door. She opens it and stands there, face tear stained, but strong. I walk in and she sits down. I play Moments and sing it, by the end, we are both sobbing.

I put down the guitar and she hugs me. "I'm sorry," I say, "I am so sorry. I am such a dick."  "I love you Luke," she whispers back, hugging me tighter.

VOTE AND COMMENT!!!

I'm sorry this took so long!!!

I have such a plan, you guys are going to kill me for it, but at the same time, it'll be a bomb.

Like I said earlier, school is nuts. And Moments came on today when I was attempting to write, and I started crying.

So, I really hope you liked it. Because I did.

Bye now!
