The day seemed to have no reflection on Chloe's mood, it was too bright. She had not slept well last night, so it was understandable for her to wake up in a formidable mood. "Woe is me!", that would be the catchphrase for today. She thought in her head as she drove her car to work, call it a gut feeling but, Chloe couldn't shake of the feeling that this day was going to take a turn for the worse.
She pulled up into The Giraffe, the restaurant she worked weekends at. It was quite a modern building that had just been constructed the year before, the small town of Caurberue wasn't used to having such a huge tourist attraction,as they were used to being fairly quiet and being known for being a quaint town to visit.
Now, the giraffe brought a large prospect of opportunities for people in the town. Chloe knew she was lucky to work here, she had good friendships amongst some of the employees, the pay was good and the customers…they were good, 70% of the time. The other 30 she was not even going to think about.
