After a few blows, Duffy extricated me off of Valen. "You had your chance to talk. Now I'll kill you," I yelled. I was utterly and completely sick of this guy. How could he treat such a nice guy like Alan, with that hatred? I saw nothing but red. Alan watched calmly and strolled casually over to Valen. "Come with me," Alan said hand out.

Valen took it. Maybe he thought Alan wasn't going to kill him. Alan helped Valen up and dragged him towards the sunlight. "Wait no! Son, don't do this to me," he screeched. "You should be thankful to have me as your father," he yelled desperately. He pointed at me," I even got you her!" Alan stopped.

"What do you mean?" Alan asked head turned slightly. "I let her live, for you. I found you your match," his father said.

"Well I thank you for that," Alan sneered," the best thing you've ever done for me." Valen's smile quickly dispersed. He wiggled his arm out of Alan's grip and said," I will go myself. No son of mine is gonna kill me."

Then he stumbled into the sunlight and we witnessed the same scene. Once we could tell he was gone for good I inquired,"Not the sharpest knife in the drawer was he?"

"He knew that he was defeated. He didn't want anyone knowing that his son was the death of him," Alan sighed. I felt kind of surprised. "But he would be dead, so it wouldn't make a difference right? That's basically suicide," I said sadly.

I don't really like talking about suicide. It makes me depressed.

But this is an acceptation.

Valen's body crumbled to dust. And swooshed past us. We are on a train after all. The very back in fact. "Now where were we?" Duffy asked. "Bout to jump off," Alan reminds him. We link arms again and luckily nobody comes up behind us. "On the count of three," Alan said.

"THREE!"

Duffy pulls us and we jump off the back and tumble onto the tracks.
