The 3 of us were sitting in Veronica's large room giggling and having our usual girls night. It usually
only contained of Veronica,betty,and I. "Okay but anyways remember when Hailey got so drunk that she peed her pants" Veronica shared and we all went laughing and spilling popcorn on the carpeted floor. An hour later after giggling and doing various girly things such as makeup and telling funny stories. We decided to find a movie and settle down to go to sleep for the night. "What about 13 going on 30" Betty suggested "sure" we all agree on it as we set up blankets and multiple pillows. To make a blanket fort. As we watched the movie I noticed Veronica scoot closer to me "im a little cold" she said. I was confused as to why considering we had more than enough blankets and 3 girls giving off body heat. "Um okay"I say as I let her rest her head on my shoulder. I looked at betty noticing how in to the she was getting into the movie saying the lines with the characters. I could feel Veronica lay her hand on my leg. I look over at her and she continued to look at the screen. I didn't say anything and continued to watch the movie. I felt betty stretch her legs as she was falling asleep."she's out" Veronica said a couple minutes later as I looked over at betty. Who had her mouth open. I took a quick picture. As the movie ended I rested my head in Veronica's lap and fell asleep.
The next morning I got a call from.my mother saying she needed me home. As I packed my covers up Veronica stirred awake. "Your leaving" she said sounding disappointed "yeah my mom needs me" I say smiling as I headed towards the door. Veronica opened the door for me as I was walking out she grabbed my wrist "[y/n] wait" she said pulling me closer. The next thing for sure I didn't expect. Veronica quickly pecked my lips "bye" she said smiling.
