My Missing Garnet

Epilogue

It was Monday, and the word already spread that we were soulmates. I didn't really mind, as long as we were together.

Sorry, that was really cheesy, but I had to do it. And it was true!

While we went to our lunch table, we saw Pearl and Amethyst. Sapphire and I saw the opal sparkling from their necks and exchanged a knowing smirk. We all sat down and started talking.

"So, you guys were busy tonight, hm?" Pearl asked us. "We can ask you the same thing, can't we Sapphire?" I fired back, smirk on my face. At this they blushed furiously. "Come on Pearl, tell us the story. We're dying to hear." Sapphire said.

They proceeded to tell us their story with A LOT of blushing, which I found adorable. Turns out, after I ran away from the stadium, they went away as well. They confessed directly behind the stadium.

"Aww, that's adorable, Pearl and Amethyst," Sapphire said "Guess we have to tell you our story." Then she told them, with me filling up the gaps.

"Awwwww, that's adorable as well. I'm happy though. It's kinda a coincidence that we met our soulmates and confessed at the same time. That doesn't happen a lot!" Amethyst said smiling.

Then, we heard the clicking of heels and immediately knew who decided to show up.

"Heeyyyy Ruby, so how's it goin?" She said. I tried to contain my instinct to punch her right there and then, but Sapphire put a calming on my leg. "Let me handle this, Ruby." She turned to Emerald with a almost scary looking calm face and said this:

"I'm sorry Emerald, Ruby probably didn't get it through your thick skull,but she doesn't like you. At. All. Now, excuse me, but I want to spend my lunch with my friends and soulmate. So could you please leave with your attitude, thank you. Oh, and don't be too jealous. Emerald is not a good colour on you."

Pearl, Amethyst and I were SHOOK. WHAT??!! DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN??!!!! I really have the best soulmate.

All around the cafeteria I heard airhorns and clapping from various students.

"Sapphire, that was amazing!" I gave her a peck on the lips. "I love you." I told her. " I love you too, Ruby"

And that is how I finally found my missing Garnet.
