Cinder And Smoke

Here we lie
Vulnerable and naked
Pious without doubt
And devoid of senses.
The wallpapers fade away into oblivion.
And we melt into each other's thoughts
A silhouette of drunken passion.

Cinder and smoke in the fireplace
Craft a tapestry of reminiscence
Lit as bright as the birds of heaven.
The moonlight falls on your face
And shows me the brilliance of
A thousand stars weaved on a smooth canvas.

Your touch, a breath of fresh air
Breathes life into me and all it encounters.
Speak and I shall be
A captive without a cage
In your garden of eternal beauty
And words , a river of sweet delight
Into the depths of my soul.

The fire grows and engulfs the wood
As we sit here as spectators
Our march towards death
Together, with love, with care
Diminishing the sorrow of life
Since our eyes met each other.
Unless the bond of life
Is struck asunder by life's mischief
The mischief of the silent grave and
We fall apart
Fall apart fast and all at once.
