"Come on Lyssie they're gonna start soon!" My best friend Luke yelled from downstairs. "One second!" My sister Madelyn was curling my hair, because I was going to get to see Ashton. He was really funny and sweet, and I already developed a crush on him. I'm only 15, so nothing too serious. We were going to Luke and his band, 5 Seconds of Summer's practice. They were making a YouTube video, like they do every week.
"And.... Done!" My sister dropped the curling iron onto the counter and smiled. "Perfect. Thanks Madz." I said. "No problem." "Alyssa Chelsea Johnson move your butt we're gonna be so late!" Luke cried. I walked down the stairs, grinning at him. "You look pretty. Now let's go." He took my hand and we walked away from the stairs. Right before we left, I heard a click. Luke and I turned around to see a smirking Madelyn holding her camera. "What, you guys will be a perfect couple!" Maddie laughed. "Whatever." Luke replied. We walked out the door, but little did I know that this day could be the last normal day of my life.
