I won't let go

Forth cracked open his eyes. Well, he never went to sleep. He was just trying to fall asleep.

He couldn't.

He checked the time- 2 am. And he was still here. Forth wondered when will he leave this time. Because he had this habit of coming at the time when the moon comes up, and leaving, when it begins to set.

How well suited, Forth chuckled. Considering he was a moon. Campus moon.

Phana.

He turned around to the source of warmth behind him, and took in the sleeping form of his moon. No, not his. He was never his.

But he so desperately wished he was, is and will be, forever.

Forth doesn't understand how they came to this predicament. They both were males, coworkers, no not co-workers, Phana was higher up on the ladder, in the line to become a CEO. And most of all, they belonged to different social and economic sections.

How did this happened?

Everything was normal and in limit. Their only interaction during office hours and strictly about work.

It so happened, that one day, Phana came to his home for some reason, and it was like all their barriers, Thier inhibitons, their fears broke down and they went at each other in a wild manner.

Well, it was Phana who started it. As soon as he had turned his back to him, Phana had pinned him to the wall and kissed him senselessly. And then proceeded to devour him, like there was no tomorrow.

It all happened 5 month ago, and now they are here.

He noticed some movements in Phana.

He was ready to flee again.

And Forth wouldn't stop him.

But tonight was different.

Because tonight when Phana leaves, he will never return to this room.
Working in the same company, he came to know that Phana was getting engaged to the daughter of one the board members.

But what about him?

What they had was a secret.

A taboo.

And Forth was regretting of never making it official. Never tying Phana to him.

Never stopping him from leaving.

But he wanted to, so very much now.

He wanted not only Phana's night, but his days too.

Not only his body, but his heart too.

Not only the pleasure, but the pain too. That is sure to come along their way.

He wanted Phana.

Not just tonight. Every night. Every day. Every moment.

But why is the best fruit always forbidden?

He doesn't care. Atleast not at this moment. Tonight, he'll not let Phana leave.

Even if every body opposed them.

Even if the world turned against them.

He won't let Phana go.

As Phana sat up on the bed and was about to stand up, Forth held his wrist.

"Stay"

Phana looked back at him. In the dim light of the moon, he could see the surprised look on his face, which was soon replaced by a look which Forth had never seen before- love.

"Okay"

Phana slipped inside the bed again and hugged him tight, eventually falling asleep.

But sleep was still far away for Forth.

He knew the gravity of the situation. They would have to fight the whole world to be together. Face many hurdles and hardships. Have many sleepless nights.

But as long as Phana is with him, he can eventually sleep at night, as he slowly drifted off to sleep, finally.
