Hermione settled into her chair in the library, ready for another reading marathon. Soft golden light filter into the large room and the smell of dust and parchment filled her nose as she opened her book.

The library was her favorite place, her sanctuary from the noisy outside world that so often stressed her out beyond belief. She just needed some quiet. Some time to get her thoughts together and just calm down.

Unfortunately, the library hasn't been very quiet lightly. Ever time Victor Krum slouched in, a herd of giggled girls came soon after. Wasn't there a library on his big, fancy ship? Happily, he was nowhere to be seen today and she could finally get some peace...

Someone with a large stack of books sat next to her and she jumped. Krum picked up one of his book, leaned back, and started reading. She stared. Did the people from his school not know manners? She gathered her things and started to stand, but a deep voice startled her, "Do you alvays read this late?"

She sat back down and studied him, "Yes." She looked around, "Where's your groupies?" He shrugged, "I...escaped them."  He seemed to be searching for words every time he spoke. Which made sense. He muttered, "I've been Vaiting for the right time to ask this but...I've alvays been followed by the girls or you've been surrounded by your friends.." She raised a brow as she waited for him to say whatever it was that he was going to say.

"Vill you...go to the ball with me?"
