Alexis's POV
I loved the feeling of the wind against my pure black fur. Running always seemed to help me cool off steam and just, you know... feel better I guess.
But i'd have to say, it helps every wolf just to shift and turn into a beautiful creature. I loved seeing other wolfs while on my run it always seemed interesting to see them run as well. Just to watch the wind hit there fur perfectly, always gives me good chills in my body.
I soon got tired an hungry so I ran over to a near by beach where I knew humans wouldn't see me and I shifted back into my human form. I quickly slipped on my clothes then checked my phone. I saw that it had three texts. Two from my best friend Jazelle and one from my mom. First I replied to Jazelle's text
(J= Jazelle, A= Alexis)
J- Hey wanna go for a run?!
J- Plz respond I'm itching for freedom!
A- hey srry I was running! I told u I was going running today, lol my bad. how about tmrw?
Shortly after I got a text back
J- Yeah sure, that's fine! I just wanna hang out with u! haven't seen u in forever!!!! D:
A- I just saw u yesterday, LoL
J- Ik but that's to long! Lol
A- okay, we'll I gtg ttyl bye! :*
J- Bye! :*
After a few minutes I looked to see what my mom texted me
(M= Mom, A= Alexis)
M- Hey, time to come home! Hope you had a nice run dear. I love you, see you when you get home! :)
I chuckled then thought to myself, 'oh mom, you and your long texts'. I quickly responded and said
A- Ok ma, ill b home in 10 minutes or later! see ya then! :)
M- Alrighty dear I love u!
With that I shut off my phone and started walking to the secret path Jazelle and I found when we were younger.
While I was walking, something caught my attention. Something smelled, and not in a bad way it was a really good way and the smell was so good. It was the perfect combination of chocolate, wind, and pine trees.
I quickly followed the sent then all of a sudden my wolf went nuts inside. My wolf was whimpering for me to keep on following the smell so I kept going knowing I wouldn't be able to beat her.
What happened next was something I never expected at all.
