The pain was unbearable. It's gotten worse since the last time, "No! No! Please stop!" I screamed, but it didn't make any of the pain go away, it never has. "You little whore, you're ugly, fat, & nobody will ever love you." His got breath reeked of alcohol as it fanned over my neck. He slapped me across the face, harder than ever before, & threw me on the cold ground. "I should just leave you here & let you die, you ugly fat slut." He said as he walked out of my room..
"Matt? Matt, wake up!" My mother called my name multiple times trying to wake me from yet another nightmare about all those nights.
"Matt?" She called again. My face was wet with warm salty tears, I was crying.
"I'm up, I'm up." I called as I laid in bed. I was still frightened from my dream, but it wasn't a dream at all.. It was a memory.
I sat on the edge of my bed for a while, not thinking about anything in particular, just staring blankly at the wall.
"Time for school" I sigh to myself as I get up to do my morning routine.
------------------------------------------------------------------
All eyes were on me, the new girl, as I made my way down the unfamiliar hallway to my locker.
I got my books for 1st period when I hear somebody say
"Hey, Trevor. Where you going?" A deep musky voice says from a few feet away.
"Um..N-Nowhere Kian.." Said a very nervous boy who looked around 15 years of age.
"Good." A short, brown curly-haired boy said as he punched the boy, Trevor I'm assuming, in the gut, causing his to double over in pain.
When I saw this from only a few feet away memories flooded back, causing me to drop all my books on the floor. This made a very loud noise in the otherwise empty hallway.
"Sam, go see what that was, I'll take care of Trevor." That same musky voice said.
As I went to run away so I didn't get caught, a small, but strong, hand grabbed my upper arm pulling me back.
"Well, well, well. Who do we have here?" Sam said in mocking tone.
"It's that new girl, I think her name is Madison?" As I heard this voice yet again as tall blonde figure came into view. He had bleached blond hair, with a little blue-green color in it. He also had a nose ring, but he was towering over us all which made him even more frightening then before.
"Kian, what shall we do with her? She obviously just saw what happened with little Trevor over there.." Sam asked the tall boy.
The blond boy, Kian, looked at me with soft eyes, unlike the dark & mysterious ones I saw moments ago. "Let her go, she won't tell." He said as he held my gaze, talking in a caring tone.
Sam reliantly let go of my arm, & I scurried away not wanting to get into any more trouble today.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The rest of the day went by in a flash, I wasn't really paying attention anyways. All I could thin about was Kian's brown eyes, the way they looked at me. I didn't know what it meant but I knew I had to stay away from those boys.
They were nothing but trouble.
I was currently out running, trying to keep in shape, when I saw a boy sitting on the curb, crying. It looked like the Trevor boy from this morning at school.
I stopped behind him & called out to see if he could hear me, he couldn't because he had headphones in. I went up to him & tapped his shoulder, causing him to jump up & had a look of pure fear on his face.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean-" I tried to say but was cut off.
"You're the girl from this morning aren't you?" The boy asked.
"Uh- I am. I saw you sitting here & wanted to make sure you were alright." I stated at I saw him put an arm over his stomach in a protecting manor.
"Y-Yeah..I'm fine. I'm Trevor by the way, Trevor Moran. " he said quietly with his head down.
"I'm Madison, but you can call me Matt if you'd like." I told him in return. He nodded his head & scurried off down the street.
