-Regular POV-
You awoke in a soft bed, that smelt of lavender. You try to sit up, but your whole body aches. You sigh and lay still, you tried to remember what happened, and where you were! All you seemed to remember was that a human child and a monster woman saved you once you fell down the mountain. You groaned and rolled over, noticing a mirror. You looked at your reflection in horror. Your face was almost purple with bruising, and you had a large sewed up cut on your forehead. You remember where you got these from. Your father, no F/n had done this to you. He had gotten mad and he slapped you, he would normally stop there but you talked back, you called him a monster. He beat you within an inch of your life yet you still had the strength to run away, and that's how you ended up here. It's kind of ironic, the 'monster' hurt you but a real monster saved you. You chuckled, trying to sit up again. This time you succeeded. You took the blankets off you and looked at your legs. You had your black ripped jeans on, and your grey wool socks. You were looking at your sleeves now, and realized that they had put a different shirt on you. It was a red sweater with a black strip in the middle. They probably put it on you because you had wiped blood on your shirt. You wiped your eyes, and the tears coming out of them away and attempted to get out of bed. You did, and walked towards the door. You glanced down the hallway and saw a staircase leading down stairs. You assumed your 'saviours' would be down there so you held the railing carefully and walked down, flinching with each step you took. You were a little wobbly, and slow, but you could walk, so that was good. When you reached the bottom of the stairs you saw two people at the bottom, sitting at a table. They looked up at you, the woman jumping up. "Child, you're awake!" She ran to me attempting to help me down the stairs and to the table. "Yeah I'm fine.'' You say gently, letting her help you. The little kid that was sitting at the table looked at you. "You look terrible." They said gently looking at your face. The woman shot the child a dirty look and looked back you. "Would you like something to eat child?" She asked gently looking you up and down. "If you wouldn't mind, please and thanks." She smiled at your polite manner and walked into the kitchen. You walked to the table and looked at the child. "So, thanks for helping me." You say, looking at frisk. "That's Toriel by the way." they said, pointing to the kitchen. You glance over and smile. Your face hurts from smiling, so you dont. "Does it hurt?" Frisk asks, snapping you out of your thoughts. "A little, but it's not too bad." You lied. Your face felt like it was going to fall off. "Well that's good." They say gently. It goes silent for a while, as you both sit there at the table waiting for breakfast. Or at least you assumed it was breakfast. You look around for a clock, not finding anything, you turn to frisk. "You know what time it is kid?" You ask, the natural rough tone in your voice showing. "Yeah it's like 8:30 or so." You sigh, looking at your hands. Toriel then comes back into the dining room with food. She made eggs and bacon. "Im sorry child, I didn't know what you preferred, so I just made scrambled eggs." You chuckle deeply, "No, it's fine I love scrambled eggs." Toriel seems pleased with your response, and sits down. You all dished up and began to eat, it was silent until Toriel spoke. "So frisk tells me your name is Y/n, yes?" She said, smiling in your general direction. You nod, unable to speak because your mouth is full of food. It was so good, and you didn't realize how hungry you were, after all you were about to eat dinner when your da- f/n got mad. You swallowed and asked toriel a question. "How long was I out for?" You ask, looking at Toriel. Her mood changed as she answered solemnly. "For 3 days. We didn't know if you were going to wake up y/n.'' You furrow your brows at the thought of being asleep for 3 days. The table went silent for a little while after this as you all ate. "Y/n, I want to let you know you are more than welcome to stay here with us." Toriel said seriously." You smiled, "thank you." She looked confused by your answer. "Dont you have somewhere to go, I mean like on the surface?" You sighed. Did she really want you gone? Oh well, you knew it was to good to last. "No, this is as much of a home as I've ever known." You answer honestly, looking at toriel sadly. She smiled. "Well than, you may stay here.".....~The next few weeks went well, your face healed up, and Toriel is going to let frisk take you to meet some of her 'friends', but she warns you that in this world its kill, or be killed. But you're not to sure if that's true or not. Still, she warns you to be tough, and show no weakness. She even tought you how to use your soul. But she warns you it's only for e
super cool though...
But although you may seem happy here, you get an uneasy feeling, as if someone was watching you. But is may just be Toriel's house, it makes you feel as if something... bad will happen, and it makes you uncomfortable. So, you should probably leave soon, just in case.
