Melanie POV:

I went to Marissa 's to help plan Taylor's birthday party & the party was great !

I decided to get Jaylens number from Kayden & I text him and said can we meet up .

J.C. : Iam busy , what about 10 tonight that's when I get off work .

Me: Ok sounds cool .

I started to text Dylan , but that didn't last long he is going away for some football training.

Than Ariel came home & said let's go I need an outfit for my date today with Dre .

We went to the mall & Ariel picked out a red strapless summer dress with gold sandals , & gold accessories to match .

I decided to get an outfit to , considering I had money . I got a shirt that said sweetie it was hot pink with the word in gray & it was a crop top than I got some white shorts with black sandals & silver accessories .

I just felt like buying something for the next time I go somewhere with Dylan .

It's 9:30 & Ariel is getting ready to go . Than she leaves & Iam left here waiting for Jaylen. Than I get a text from him

J.C. : Let's meet at the park don't want Cara to see me .

Me: Ok lol

So when I get to the park he's not here than a couple of minutes later he arrives .

Me: Hi

Jaylen : Wassup what u want ?

Me: How do you know Marissa ?

Jaylen: That's a hard story to tell

Me: Iam trustworthy even though we don't really know eachother

Jaylen: Whatever I might as well tell you cause this could concern your brother .

Me: ok

Jaylen : Ok so when I was 14 I met Marissa & as you know she's older than me long story short she broke my heart bye .

Me : That's not enough information

J.C. : We haven't known eachother that long for us to be having that conversation .

Me: I understand you being closed about certain things cause Iam the same way .

J.C. : Yeah I looking for a hand

Me: To hold ( I finished his sentence)

J.C. : Don't do that ... I also want A heart to understand .

Me: I had a feeling he was gonna say that but either way I understand how he feels .

So we end up saying bye to eachother & He told me we should hang out more I agreed , than he said

"See ya around Crystal in the rough "

I laughed it's "Diamond " .

It took me awhile to realize that he dated Marissa how weird was that , I would like to think she already told my brother considering they are gonna get married .

THE NEXT DAY

Dylan is meeting my parents today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When he came over my Mom & Dad instantly asking him questions like

"How old are you " ?

" Have a job ? "

"Do you have any kids " ?

" Do you stay out of trouble "?

"Are you capable of being a great boyfriend to our baby girl "?

There were many questions but he handled them all well .

Than they said " You have our permission to date our baby girl"

I get happy & hug them than me & Dylan went outside & he said

" So are you gonna be my girl ?"

"Ummmmmm .... Maybe"

He looks shocked than I say " Just Kidding you know I will "

He laughs a little than we kiss & he says

" I've got a nice date for us planed for tonight "

LATER ON THAT NIGHT

I get ready for our date and I wore what I bought at the mall earlier .

He decided to take me to play miniature golf & than out to eat .

I had fun & than he said

"Dre is throwing a party & you should come I think your sister will be there "

I agree than we go the party was turnt no doubt about that.

I see Kayla there so I wave & we hug and she says

"we need to hang out ASAP "

"I know right ." I respond

The whole night we dance & hangout & Dylan gave me a ticket to his graduation . I asked him how he knew Kayla ?

He said " I don't Ariel invited her so she can try to hook her up with someone like how she did me and you ."

He smiled at me & I laughed , Ariel loves being Cupid .

After I while I decide it's time I go home he dropped Kayla off home & me too we kissed of course & I went in the house .

I starts to think

"I have a boyfriend "!!!!!!!

Than I realize I haven't talk to Kayden about what Jaylen told me but will Marissa understand me getting involved ??? Either way I don't play when it comes to my family so we'll talk

Soon . I now understand why Jaylen made the "Nice Addition comment ."
