When Gabriella woke up on sunday expecting to go on their usual run, she was surprised to know that her dad had got caught in some business matter with Cody.

She was about to go back to her room when her mother hollered her from behind,

"Hey, do you mind if I come with you for your run?"

Nitara saw her daughter's face light up. She loved her early morning runs.

"Yes, yes, yes."

Nitara chuckled at her enthusiasm. Gabriel never missed the morning run with his daughter for anything but he was taken for the moment as today was a really important day.

Some alpha whose pack was attacked and taken from him was coming to seek allegiance with them. He planned on taking his rightful place back.

Nitara knew that her husband and sons would help him anyhow they can.

In the meantime, Gabriel didn't want his daughter  to feel upset so he told his wife to go on a run with their daughter.

Gabriella even though human has taken after his father in height department and towered over her mother by half foot easily.

Even though Gabriel wanted to raise his daughter as the princess she is, Nitara insisted that she train like every other wolf did in their human form. Gabriella was all ears for this idea.

Now at 17 and starting junior year at school Gabriella can beat their gamma in sparing, where she lacked in strength she made up with her techniques and agility.

As the mother daughter duo left the house for the people around them waved and wished them 'good morning'.

It wasn't a surprise when she was with her family, people treated her with the same respect as them but when she was alone she was just forgotten in the crowd.

After so many years she became accustomed to this. She was not bothered by their behaviour anymore.

They continued with their run and soon were on their way back to their home.

"Mom, can I go visit Nate and Cameron later today?"

It has been a while since she last saw her cousins. It was exactly six months ago when they all went to Crescent Moon Pack for Nate's ceremony.

Nate has been busy since then and Cameron was newly mated so they both can't come and see her as they used to before.

So she wanted to go and give them a surprise visit.

"Sure."

"Thanks mum."

"Remember school is starting tomorrow so return before mid night."

"Yes mom."

Nitara found it odd that her daughter suddenly asked to go to her former pack.

"Is there a reason why you want to go there all of a sudden?"

"I.. I just want to go.. I don't know but I feel a little restless since last night."

"Has anybody said or done something to you?

"No ma."

"Then?"

"It's been a while since I last met them."

Nitara looked in her daughter's eyes and saw nothing but the truth.

Gabriella was never able to lie to anyone. Anyone could easily tell that from her eyes.

"Okay, be careful on your way there."

Gabriella soon showered and was in garage mounting her motorcycle.

Nitara had refused to get her this deathtrap but Gabriel was just too much influenced with his daughter's pleading look that he overlooked his wife's protest.

Soon Gabriella was on her way out.
