So this morning I woke up extra early cause I had an interview with a big accounting /marketing/advertising etc. They acquired almost everything needed by businesses. So I went to my favorite Cafe just a block away from my house. I loved it because it also had a library situated inside of it.
He was behind me in the line and looked really stressed. I quickly assessed him to see what type of coffee he liked and surprisingly he had the same likes as those of mine. I had the perks of an everyday special (annoying as Jack put it) customer so I could cut in line. To the front I went and bought 2black coffees with four sugars in each. I went in front of him and tapped him gently on the shoulder and he was too distracted to notice. I got a good look at him and I liked what I saw. He was wearing sweatpants and a blue top that clung to his muscles he also had running shoes so I got to the conclusion that he just came from a morning run. I tapped him even harder and once again he did not acknowledge my presence or anyone's for that matter. It wasn't until I spoke that he realized he was in a room full of people
"Excuse me?" I said politely
"Good day ma'am is there anything I can assist you with" he replied with the same politeness as I used
"Oh, I was standing in front of you and..." I started until he cut me to only apologize profusely
"I am so sorry did I cut in front of, my mind is all over the place" he said looking apologetic
"it's ok, you didn't cut I did but because I have certain perks as a regular customer, I thought you must be in a hurry, and I bought this for you. You take it black with four sugars right?"
"Are you a stalker" he asked suspiciously
"No, I just have a talent of reading people well, and have great PA skills" I answered honestly
"Well thank you for the coffee and caring, most people just ignore me they think I have everything under control like I don't have worries you know." he said meaningfully as he offered me a seat that I accepted gladly
"yeah I know exactly what you mean" I said
That's where we hit it off.
