Chapter 1
Katie Adams, is a workaholic you might say. She works about 18 hours a day 6 days a week. sometimes even 7 days a week. She has been longing for a man to settle down with ever since her divorce 4 years ago. She has been dating men for 3 years, and has at least been on 235 dates. No one calls her back. Not knowing about her hunky next door neighbor in the apartment she lives in. Will O'Donal. Will is an 26 year old exotic dancer. Him on the other hand works 10 hours a day 5 days a week. He has been with dozens of girls and has never settled down with any of them. Will is the certain guy who hates women like Katie. He doesn't believe in "settling down". But Katie, she has a dream that she will meet mr. perfect and settle down and NEVER have kids. Katie hates kids, she thinks that they are gross and messy. Will loves kids, he thinks that they are adorable.
Katies POV
"You HAVE to go out with him Katie!" my best friend Anjela said. "Um... NO. He is my next door neighbor, I would NEVER go out with him. He is a player," I said. "Anjela you just don't get it, two bit, gold digger, uncapable of having feelings." "Wow, you are seriously going to give up love at 25?!" Anjie said. She is crazy, i thought. But, what the heck. I set up a date with him for thursday at 5:30 p.m. It is a blind date so he didn't know it was me. Why did I ever tell her about Will. We are so different. Well why not give it a shot. I have run out of options, and he is kinda cute, to be honest.
Wills POV
"Hey Jake!" I said. Jake is my friend from high school. We have been buddies for ever. "Hey Will." Jake said. "Hey so i have a blind date for Thursday." I mummbled. "What!!" Jake started saying. "That is the worst kind of date ever! You can't go through with this! Wait, oh haha I see what you are doing! Nice joke man real funny." Jake said. "Dude I'm not joking. I'm serious I have a date on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Su Casa." Jake just sat there staring at me in disbelief.
