After Greg went back to Dauntless, Peter, Drew and Al attack Greg. Fouretta comes to his rescue and strikes back at them. Fouretta let Greg stay at her house as she puts ice on his hand. Fouretta says Al has been failing in his ranks and he lets fear get to him. You never keep fear from bothering you, she said to Greg. Fouretta says you can sleep on my bed and I'll sleep on the floor. The next morning, Fouretta asks Greg, where were you yesterday? Greg says I saw my brother Rodrick and that Erudite is planning to take over Abnegation. Fouretta says I'm aware of that but how far will they go? Greg says what about my parents and Manny? Fouretta says just worry about yourself and we'll talk about it later. Christina asks Greg if that's his shirt and he says no. Al apologizes to Greg and Greg says stay away from me! I swear if you come near me again I will kill you! Your a coward! Al just leaves. Next, everyone goes the Pit because Al jumped off the chasm and died. Fouretta sees Greg, he says leave me alone. Fouretta says look I'm sorry about Al. Greg says it's my fault that he's dead. Fouretta says it's not your fault that Al made his own choice, he was going to be factionless and he was not going to pass that final test. Greg said so would I. Fouretta says what makes you say that. Greg says I'm too perfect, you know why, as soon as all the others find out they will kill me. Fouretta says I'm not going to let that happen, you know that right? Greg nods his head and smiles.
