Oak Tree {S.Coups of Seventeen}

Authors Note: I am so incredibly sorry for being gone so long, between graduating earlier in the year and family things I've neglected this but I'm doing my best to update this book and bring more stories! Please check my message board to send requests!

It was a sunny day at (h/s/n), the hallways crowded but not too cramped since it was early in the morning. (Y/N) walked to her locker when an envelope fell out. with curiosity she opened the it to find a letter. (Y/N) your eyes shines brighter than any night sky, your smile lights up a room. You are the kindest girl I’ve met with a big heart.

Your P.O.V

I blushed placing the letter into the envelope again and grabbed her books. “(Y/N),morning! You're… why is your face all red?,” Junhui questioned

“Oooh~ She’s got a love letter!” I was about to argue when the letter was grabbed from my hand.

“SOONYOUNG!” I tried grabbing it for my him but he was taller than me. He only chuckled and laughed reading the letter. Junhui read over his shoulder then looked to me.

“Awww our little (Y/N) have a secret admirer~” Junhui cooed at me. “Shut up! Don't talk so loud! My god..” I hiss hiding my face. They both laughed and the beginning bell rang. And we went to class.

~In class~

“Good morning (Y/N)! How are you this lovely morning?,” Nicole asked plopping next to me. “Stressful and class hasn't started yet.” She chuckled and gave me a look saying ‘What happened now?’ I sigh pulling the letter from my binder and handing it to her. She gave me a questioning look and took it. When she finished reading it she had a cheesy grin on her face. “AWW (Y/N) THAT'S SO CUTE!” I punch her arm and shush her. “Quiet! The whole school doesn't need to know!”

She laughs rubbing her arm. “Not my fault whoever wrote that really likes you.” I grumble under my breath as class starts.

~Skip to Break~

“Would you three hush about it already! It's not like we know who wrote it and you all are already planning a wedding!” I shout as we walk down the hall. “But (Y/N) it's important!” Soonyoung whined. “Yeah! Cause you know you're sad, single and lonely.” Junhui shrugged.

I whack his chest and rolling my eyes. “Why thank you for pointing out my very sad love life, as though you're is any better than mine.” I sass to him. He puts his hands up in defense.

I chuckles as we reach my locker. I unlock it and another envelope falls out. I here Junhui, Nicole and Soonyoung squeal behind me as I open it. “Don't leave us in the dark READ IT OUT LOUD!” Nicole shouts to me. I sigh as I start to read. “(Y/N) I hope my first letter hasn't caused you trouble. I don't want to say it as a written word. I feel as though actions speak louder than words. So if you would please join me at the oak tree after school.” I looked at the paper surprised. I snap back to reality when Nicole and Soonyoung squeal and start jumping around.

“Omo! That's so cute~ You're going to meet him right? RIGHT?!?” Soonyoung shouts grabbing my shoulders. “Yes yes! Oh my god! SOONYOUNG!” I grab his arms.

“I'll go meet the person if you let me go!” He smiles letting go of me. I sigh and Junhui laughs. “Okay (Y/N) you're right I think they're a little too excited about this.” I give him a ‘no really?’ look and laugh.

~After School~

I sigh softly as I wait under the oak tree. I look at the letter again feeling anxious. What am I doing here!? You don't even know this person! You should bail. But what if he's so charming. I groan putting my face into my hands. I sigh and turn around to get ready to leave. “You actually came.” A sweet and surprised voice rang.

I turned my head to see my childhood friend Seungcheol. “S-Seungcheol? Were you the one who put those letters in my locker?” I see a light pink dust his cheek as he scratched the back of his neck.

“Yeah I did… (Y/N) I've wanted to do this for a while and more now… so here goes nothing.. (Y/N) we grew up together. We knew one another like the back of our hand. And I know since coming to high school we've went our separate ways since you are younger than me. But that doesn't matter because...over the time I've known you I've fallen in love with you. I understand if you don't feel the same but if you do… would you be mine?”

I stand there smile and on the verge of tears. “Cheol I didn't know you felt the same. I've like you for the longest time.” He smiles softly. Pulling me close for a hug, his arms laces around my waist and me looks into my eyes. The space between our lips close for a soft and gentle kiss.

When we break it feels as time is standing still. “So is that a yes?” “A thousand times.” He lets out a soft chuckles. “Come on, I'll walk with you.”

I nod and our fingers intertwine. I smile as we walk to the front of the school gate. “SOONYOUNG! JUNHUI! LOOK!” I hear a loud voice boom. We turn to see Nicole and Soonyoung bouncing and getting overly excited while Junhui gives a thumbs up. I groaned as Seungcheol laughed.  

“Yah! You guys are embarrassing!” They laugh as Seungcheol and I walk away. God they will never let this go ever.
