" Okay, so she used to work for Roman Torchwick. They were there when Beacon fell and were also working for Cinder at the time, meaning they helped in hacking the Atlisian Army. General Ironwood's ship was the main target to hack the robots and the faunus, were just pawns to them to fuel their destruction and cause the relationship between the faunus and humans. But the night she brought Cinder to the Blue Jay, she protected the orphanage. She let our Blue Jay and the little girl die but she saved the other children. I pried a little, she's not that bad. She never meant to let them die." Zack told them.

" Is that so? You feel sorry for her, don't you, Oxton?" Qrow asked him as he leaned against the wall, arms crossed. " Mind you, that girl tried to kill both my nieces. I don't care if she's mute or shit. She got Pen killed, that's a fact. We should deal with her later, right now we got a bigger problem. Salem's looking for the Sparrow." They glanced at Veena, who had said nothing so far. She gave them an indifferent look and gestured for them to continue. Qrow was about to question her if she had a plan but Heather interrupted.

" She doesn't know much about her. All she wants of her was because of her ability to 'tame' grimm. That's all I've gathered." She finished.

" How is our Blackbird's training?" She asked her, staring at her with those violet eyes.

" She's doing well. Raven and I have seen a lot of improvements."

" Good. Make her training harder, she needs to catch up. Salem still doesn't know of my true existence, we'll make use of that. If you're all wondering, no, I don't have a proper plan to attack her. Not 'stop', attack. There's a difference. I'm not so worried about her, she barely cares actually. I suspect the only reason she ever wanted to stop Ozma was because of their never ending bickering. Making him fail his mission is probably the only thing keeping her entertained. Seeing him fail over and over just adds to her vengeful satisfaction, her game of cat and mouse. Only recently do we pose a threat to her, but it won't be her problem, it's her subordinates. They were sent to retrieve me, she won't let them return a failure three times in a row. For now, we continue our plan. Keep watch and stay vigilant. Qrow, you'll need to tell Ruby and her friends. Ozpin too." Qrow grumbled, having to tell that liar again. " Are the 'regulators' ready, Miss Nikos?" Atalanta smiled the same way her daughter had.

" My daughter would've loved to serve the greater good. Yes, I've rallied quite the crew for you, Sparrow. Is my daughter still with him? The Arc boy?" Veena smiled gently and nodded, the red haired smiled back sadly and thankfully. " Our hackers will be supervising the systems at all times. Miss Ashen, thank you for that bit of room you left for them within the walls. They'll never see us coming." The Vytal Festival was close and tensions were high. People were either excited or afraid, and that's where the media comes in.

The public has given them the name Blackbirds, as they were dressed in black and often bring good fortune to the citizens.' " Tai turned off the news and slumped on the couch. The house was quiet without the girls, too quiet. A knock on the door disturbed his thoughts. Just who could be visiting him at this hour.

" Hello-" He paused for a moment, blinking a few times to make sure he wasn't seeing things. " What do you want, Raven?" She looked at him for a brief moment and said nothing. " If you came here for nothing then you should go back to your bandits. They matter more than your own family anyway-" He couldn't move, the breath sucked out of him as she pressed her lips roughly against his. She pulled him closer, deepening the kiss. He couldn't resist and kissed her back. As abruptly it started, she stopped it just as abruptly. " W-What?" She covered his mouth and gave him a pained look. She opened her mouth but hesitated to speak.

" I- " She looked for the words but struggled to say it. " I'm sorry." Tai placed a hand on her cheek, causing her to flinch. It was warm but she knows she couldn't stay. " Tai, I- Just wanted you know that...something is coming...Something big and I....I love you, alright? That's all I'm here for." She removed his hand and started to take a few steps back.

" Raven, wait-" She changed her form and flew off into the distance. He watched her leave from his sight, the look in her eyes when she spoke stuck in his mind. " What do you mean...?" He felt an ache in his chest, something was wrong.
