Astraea's POV
I looked at him and I feel like his eyes reflected a bit of dissapointment. It seems like he didn't like the idea of me being here.
"Well, I guess I have a rough day ahead and I have to take my leave. Son, please tour her around our castle. And Miss Astraea don't hesitate to ask him some questions," the king said and the big door was being opened for him. He left, leaving the prince and me in the throne room.
"Please follow me." Prince Alexander then led the way and we both left the room. No words were spoken while walking through the hallway until we came across the rooms. He showed me the ballroom, library, the king's work area but of course he told me not to touch nor look at any document on His Majesty's table. The last place he showed me was the garden.
Beautiful flowers were on the place but the roses attracted me. I like the fragrance of the roses very much after all.
He just walked ahead of me and didn't mind me look at my surroundings. We pretty much went round and round the place to release just a bit of tension. "Let's go back inside. There is nothing more to see here," Prince Alexander said with, once again, an emotionless face.
"Well, this just make things confusing. I don't know if he really hates me or he's apathetic..." I thought to myself while going back inside the castle.
I just followed him and after a few minutes of walking through hallways, I arrived infront of my room. "This is your room for as long as you are still filling the role as my protector." I nodded and said 'thank you, Your Highness' to him.
As I was about to go inside my room, he said," You know I really hate you. I do not need you. I do not even know why my father hired a swordswoman as my protector when he knows I can defend myself... What am I saying... This is pointless... Just leave me alone." The prince left and never turned back.
I went inside my room and closed it quickly. "What's he thinking?! Am I a joke to him? I don't know but this prince probably has some issues." I thought it to myself. I laid my back on the door and said to myself, "This job is going to be quite a pain in the ass."
