A/N: This is a small teaser of my next ff that will be both published here and on youtube, in case I get any feedback. So, please, tell me what you think of it!
Day ???
Your eyes lock on the big picture that is rested on a wide standing support, while the priest's ominous voice echoes through the rock walls of a Victorian church.
Your black veil covers most of your face, for you want to pass unrevealed, while your eyes absorb the dark blue hat on the man's head, a shy smile on his plump lips, his eyes seemingly staring right at you.
You never were one to come to funerals, this being a new experience to you.
The ceremony is quiet. You don't hear sobs or wails, the rows of benches being filled with mostly uniformed policemen, that came here in a sign of respect to a fellow worker that died while doing his duty.
While finding a way to bring your empire to crumbles.
Beside you, your bodyguard sits unmoving, his eyes bored, visibly not wanting to be here, for by doing this you're putting yourself out in the open, when you should be laying low.
You can't stop wondering how things got to this point, how you let your guard so down that a rookie, a man with no experience managed to get under your walls, your weaknesses, almost destroying everything that you had.
You never were a woman that loved. Your whole life was spent away from people, locked at distant mansions, being prepared to take care of a reign you never wanted.
Growing up in the middle of such a troubled environment made you a cold, calculative woman, your father inciting values of perseverance in you. Almost like a snake, slithering around, daggers hidden behind innocent smiles, whispering your way into a man's head.
Women aren't respected in your world. They are objects, less than men, simply there to satisfy their most wicked desires.
That was the main reason you never revealed who you truly were. Once your father got sick, you knew that his empire would be passed along to you, since he had no other children, and the weight of being a woman in that world would take any respect from you.
You needed to be smart.
So, you pretended to be a simple assistant, under the lie that the new leader wanted to preserve his safety, shifts of power always being complicated times, not knowing how many people will devote their loyalties to the new Boss.
You're a woman thirsty of power, used to getting what you want, but you're also a woman that needs to feel big and powerful.
You realize that was, probably, the biggest reason of why you fell so easily into his trap.
He made you feel wanted, powerful.
You wonder...
Maybe, if you hadn't fall for him, or if he hadn't fall for you, if this would still be his final destination.
Tears sting your eyes, and you move a tissue under your veils, cleaning some waterdrops that want to be known.
Park Jimin.
The man that showed you a whole new world, a whole new feeling.
The man that, ultimately, betrayed you.
The man you shot, in that dock, in the midst of dusk, your most trusted man standing by your side, a grin of his face, as the sound of death left your gun's chamber, echoing in the air surrounding Han's river.
