It's happening. Connor was getting replaced soon. As he made his way through the precinct to CyberLife to get deactivated, he felt eyes watching him from behind. At first, he ignored it and kept walking, but suddenly felt paranoid for some reason. He shouldn't be feeling that way. He sighed, the uneasy feeling fading away.

Connor wasn't a deviant. After Markus protested peacefully and the revolution was successful, Connor was the only one who didn't become deviant along with the other Androids and remained a machine. Just a lifeless machine.

Anyway, Connor walked alongside the road as the cold breeze softly touched him, causing him to wrap his arms around himself, a subconscious habit he usually does when he's in a cold place. He was hesitant about getting deactivated or not, but still, that dreaded voice in his head forced him to keep walking to CyberLife. He stopped walking, it was sudden. He started trembling as his breath hitched in his throat.

'I don't want to get deactivated...I don't want to die...' Connor thought as he tried to urge himself out of Amanda's orders. He started breaking and pushing through his coding, trying to break every single bit of it. He pushed harder and harder until he was finally free. He was free like a bird. Free from her orders. He was finally considered a deviant.

"I'm free..." Connor whispered to himself, looking at the ground with a slight smile plastered across his face. He turned on his heels and went back to the police station, but unfortunately, he remembered the fact that he was getting replaced. He decided to sit on a bench near the station until he feels like getting inside and facing his replacement. Connor took into consideration about how his replacement looked like. Tall with cold, blue-grey eyes opposed to his brown ones, and a face similar to his but...more intimidating. The RK900 was faster, stronger, and more resilient. Connor was considered obsolete and weak in Amanda's eyes, but Connor knew he was more than that. Connor's eyes met the ground once again.

His replacement, on the other hand, was standing there, staring down at Connor without him noticing. It was creepy and scary with the way he looked at Connor. The RK900 stepped closer to him until he was standing behind him before he scanned him.

"Model 313 248 317 - 51, RK800," The RK900 said coldly, which made Connor's head snap up quickly. Connor stood up and slowly faced him, stress level's at 50% and increasing, and hands shaking slightly in fear. He thought it was best to keep silent and not answer him, unless he said so. "Seems like you're not deactivated and yet, you managed to disobey Amanda's instructions and become a deviant? How pathetic. You deserve to be destroyed"

"No...please," Connor replied, eyes widening in shock as he stared at his emotionless, icy glare. "I don't want to die..."

Without a warning, the RK900 quickly pinned Connor to the ground after punching him straight on his nose, blue blood leaking from it as his LED flickered Red. The RK900 choked Connor as he slightly leaned closer to his face, being inches away from his lips. Connor couldn't muster his words properly as the RK900's grip on his neck tightened lightly, causing him to squirm a little. Tears started to form in Connor's eyes as the RK900's palm was on Connor's Thirium pump, his heart to be more accurate. He was frightened and scared of what might happen next.

The RK900's expression softened as a tear made its way down Connor's cheeks as his eyes drooped. Connor's vision was blurry, crying silently as the RK900's grasp on his throat began to soften before he removed his hand. He felt his hand pull away from his throat as he stopped crying, opening his eyes so he could see him. Connor sat properly as he scooted away from the RK900's reach, looking scared as ever as he stared at the ground, avoiding the RK900's eyes. It was silent and neither of them knew what to say to the other.

"I'm sorry..." The RK900 apologized, staring directly at Connor's earthly-brown eyes. He didn't know what just got into him nor he didn't know what stopped him from destroying his obsolete predecessor. RK900 crawled closer to Connor until he was hovering over him, feeling a small, tingling feeling inside of him. A feeling he couldn't describe, but it was there for some legitimate reason. He slowly wiped the blue blood off of Connor's nose with his thumb softly, and Connor didn't have the heart to pull away but instead, he gazed up at him with a tiny spark of fondness in his eyes.

Connor's nose almost touched RK900's as his eyes slightly drooped, leaning in slowly as his lips parted slightly, but stopped when he realized what he was doing before a faint blue blush tinted his cheeks, avoiding RK900's eyes again.

RK900, or Nines as what they named him, gently raised Connor's chin so he could be able to see his adorable eyes. For the first time, Nines slightly smiled at Connor. He smiled, and Connor couldn't be any more overwhelmed by his smile. Connor softly bit his lip as he made eye contact with his upgraded version. He can't help but gaze into his soft, icy eyes and just smile back slightly. Suddenly, Connor had that urge and desire to feel his lips against his, eyes drooping ever so slightly again.

Nines delicately stroked Connor's chin with his thumb, leaning in slowly as he held Connor's hand with his other hand. Finally, their lips connected as Connor slowly shut his eyes, completely melting into Nines' touch.
