==Apartment of Luna Orlando, with Sting Eucliffe==
=POV: Luna Orlando, Sabertooth's Stellar Mage=
The Kingdom of Fiore, where magic is a daily part of life. It is bought and sold there everyday, and those who use magic as occupation are commonly known as mages. These mages join different guilds where they get job request to help out those in need.
In the not-so-peaceful city of Magnolia, there lies a certain guild. They were the strongest of the strong, yet they were kinder than the kind. They believe in the power of feelings, and help their comrades at all costs. The name of the guild? Fairy Tail.
After arriving in Edolas with all the exceeds (Including Panther Lily, who had turned into a miniature version of himself), team Natsu is surprised with the shocking revelation: Edolas's Lisanna had actually been Earthland's Lisanna! They just got mixed up, that's all.
The entire guild rejoiced at the return of their beloved nakama (comrade), Mirajane and Elfman most especially. They couldn't get over the fact that their dear beloved sister had returned home, safe and sound.
Lisanna had been awfully close and friendly to Edolas's Lucy Ashley, so she and Earthland's Lucy Heartfilia had almost certainly hit it off. Those two were often giggling with each other about Natsu's stupid antics.
Eventually time flew by, and everything was back to normal once again. At least, as normal as it could be in Fairy Tail. However, team Natsu had gotten really close with Lisanna, and wanted more than anything for her to join. Just so that she could fulfill their team's wish, Lucy volunteers to take some time off from the team, because they all knew that splitting the reward in six would be too troubling and her shares were not enough for her ent. Natsu and the others tried to persuade her otherwise, but she was still too stubborn. Finally, they agreed with Lucy's plan and went on a job with Lisanna.
Expectedly, the job turned out great, and they finished the job earlier than expected. Then they went on the next job, and the next, and the next...
Lucy had been solely forgotten, that was what she was sure of. She and Lisanna and Team Natsu would still talk, sure, but their time together was getting less and less, and before she knew it, they no longer spent time with her at all. Lucy had been sad and lonely. Sometimes, she would actually consider quitting the guild. But then, she shakes off the thought. Because she knew that, sooner or later, they were going to have to acknowledge her prescence. And when they do, she'll welcome them with open arms.
Months passed, and it was finally time for the S-Class Exam on Tenroujima island. Unfortunately for the stellar mage, nobody had asked her to be his or her partner. Instead, she stayed at the guild, bored as hell. To pass the time, Lucy kept on going on mission after mission. Both her body, mind, and resources couldn't take it, but she kept pushing herself; kept pushing her limits.
This went on for days, weeks even. Lucy was well aware of the time, and was worried about her friends. 4 weeks, or rather, one month is far too long for a simple exam, so she decided to talk about it with Kinana, who had become the temporary barmaid in Mirajane's stead.
Lucy arrived form her mission, completely worn out. that was the sixth one she did in the last four days, and her body and mind were both about to reach its limit. Nonetheless, she hid that weakness from everybody and walked over to the bar, where Kinana was wiping clean a wine cup. However something was definitely wrong with the guild, as it was so silent you could hear a pin drop. Sure, it was silent whenever natsu and Gray and Erza and the other weren't around, but this silent seemed different. It wasn't the calm, cheerful silence the guild always carried. This time, it was... almost lifeless.
