In the year 2002, a newly married couple, had the time of their life.

Everything was doing great, and it went even greater when the news of a upcoming baby popped up.

The couple, was formed by Kang Joohyun, a 28 years old actress, and Kang Seulgi, a 26 year old singer.

When the baby was born, Kang Naeun, everything was still perfect and nothing could ever break the happiness that the family had.

Well atleast it was.

4 years passed from their baby's birth and their marriage, and Seulgi was coming back from his work, it was around eleven p.m, on a winter night when he suddenly got into an accident. His car crashed with a truck, and he immediately got rushed to the hospital, but died at the arrival.

Acceptance.

Acceptance was the only thing that Joohyun had to do, but she couldn't. Her own daughter was in her arms, and she was crying in front of her.

This was all unexpected and unfair to her, since the couple was good to everyone, and devoted their time to their only child, and flooded her with love. Specially Seulgi. He loved his daughter so much.

It was difficult on the first week, because Naeun would ask about her dad everyday, and why wasn't he coming back home. Joohyun couldn't find the right words to say to her daughter that.. he left them for good, and living in peace.

But then it stopped. The questions from her daughter stopped, and acted normal, as if nothing happened.

She felt relieved on a side. On the other end, she felt worried because her daughter needed to know the truth, but she couldn't. 

It has been a year since her husband's death, and she decided that.. sulking wasn't helping, so she started to move on, and found a boyfriend.

At first, it was in good terms, Naeun accepted it afterwards. But after a couple months, things started to get weird.

When Joohyun's boyfriend was alone in the house, he would feel this creepy vibe around him, as if someone is watching him.

He swore that he would see some shadows on the wall.. and it freaked him out.

There were times when he would go to the bathroom, and lock the door, and when he would finish, it would be open.

Everytime he would step inside the house, he would have this feeling of nausea and he couldn't bear it anymore.

Those things happened too many times that made him give up on the relationship with Joohyun.

After their breakup, everything went normal again, and Joohyun, thought that raising Naeun alone, would be better.

She started to observe Naeun a little bit more, and noticed that she would always play alone and pretend to talk with someone.

So she decided to speak up with her one day.

"Hey baby, would you mind to talk with mommy?" Joohyun said, as she peeked up on Naeun's bedroom door.

"Sure mommy." Naeun said, and whispered something that came unheard to Irene.

"Baby, I just noticed that you talk alone lately. Do you perhaps have an imaginary friend baby?"  Joohyun asked.

"No eomma."

"And with who are you talking to?"

"With Appa." Naeun stated, brushing her doll's hair.

"W-What..?"

"I talk with Appa. He is always by my side." Naeun said, and that literally gave Irene fucking chills.

"I-Is he here now?" Joohyun asked and  gulped.

"He is in my bedroom. He never leaves my room. He says he protects me from bad things, and I'm thankful for that." Naeun explained, making Irene's eyes start to water.

Joohyun stood up, with her daughter's hand in hers, and went to her bedroom.

"Is he here now, baby?" Joohyun asked, and Naeun nodded, pointing on her bed.

Irene smiled, with tears flowing down her cheeks, and said "Hey there love. Thank you for staying by Naeun's side when I couldn't. I'm sorry.. I'm a pathetic mom."

"He said that it's okay, and you don't have to cry, eomma. He said that he knew what was happening, your relationship and everything. He knew that with that man, you weren't happy, eomma. He was using you.." Naeun said.

"I love you, Seulgi." That's all Joohyun could say.

"He loves you too, eomma. But it's his time to go now. Paradise is now the place where he should be." Naeun said.

Irene sobbed, and closed her eyes. She felt something on her lips, it felt like his lips. She automatically smiled.

It's their good bye kiss.

"I will appa. Don't worry, we are strong women, like you always said." Naeun said and giggled.

"Eomma, appa is leaving now." Naeun said.

"Goodbye appa."

"Goodbye honey. I love you!" Irene said, hugging her daughter.

"Goodbye my angels." Seulgi said, once he disappeared, " I'll still be by your side, even if you won't see me anymore. I love you."
