I opened my eyes to a shake on my bed. I sat up to see Lucas sitting on my bed eating toast. I smiled for a second and then realized that he was planning on watching me sleep while eating breakfast.
"Good morning" He greeted biting into his toast.
"What the hell where you gonna do?" I chuckled
"Um, the T.V. is out of signal" he said
"Well, my unconscious self is not a form of entertainment" I said getting up from under the covers and looking out the window to see a blue sky with white clouds.
"We're supposed to be having a picnic today" He reminded me
I looked at the time, it was 11:30 so we'd be leaving in a half hour
"Well why don't we go ahead and start getting ready" I said standing up. He nodded finishing his toast.

We headed out the door, immediately being hit my the warm sun.
"I have this spacial spot" he explained to me as we got to the park.
What a beautiful place. Big trees with long vines as the rising sun hit them. Lush green grass covered the whole place. The grass was wet, and there where puddles, but we both didn't mind them.
"It's beautiful" I said letting the sun hit my face.He grinned and stared to mentally capture this beautiful moment.
"It's my escape" he said looking back at me.
