CHAPTER 3

I was expecting to come home to an empty house but to my surprise my brother was home, and with 2 friends. Great. I walked pass the living room where my brother and his 2 guests were, trying my best not to be noticed but then, he sees me. "Avery!", Jay called out. "yeah?", i said, making my way back to the living room. "I want you to meet my friends. I don't think you remember them anymore", he said.

I stopped in my tracks as I saw him, the wall I bumped into earlier today. It was him! How does he know my brother? My subconscious was telling me to run and take cover but I just stood there, feet planted on the ground. My brother was mummbling something but I can't hear what it is. My eyes were locked on him, and his eyes were locked on mine too.

"I believe you guys remember my baby sister," Jay said walking up to me, "Avery this is Jordan," he says gesturing to the blonde with blue eyes and big strong arms, "and this is Matt," he says gesturing to HIM. My, does he look heavenly. Say something! my subconscious tells me. "hi", I then said. Why does he, Matt, make me speachless???

"Hey Avery!", says Jordan while flashing that handsome smile. I wonder how many girls have seen that smile of his and fell in his arms. Must have been a whole bunch, I thought, laughing inwardly. My thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a low seductive voice. "Hello Avery," the voice said. My head instinctively faced towards the this sweet sound.

He was simply breahtaking. Better than Michaelangelo's David. Matt was tan, tall, but not exactly what you'd call handsome. Then again, he was beautiful. There was something about him, something intriguing. And his hair, it looks so soft. I wonder what it would be like to run my fingers through those chocolate colored curls, look into his hazel eyes and.... wait, what the hell? I snapped myself back into reality and say,"hello", then I turn to Jay, "I'm just gonna hang out in my bedroom. Call me if you need me". With that said, I hurriedly ran into the safety of my room and shut the door close.
