Somebody told me that they like the book, but not the updates. So that motivated me to make an at least decently timed updated. So here it is! I hope you are impressed ;)

"So you think... Rani's boyfriend is Mr. Cloud Nine?" I asked, whilst studying his concentrating face carefully.
"I don't know, but one thing for sure, he's part of his little cult." He spoke, a tint of bitterness in his words.
I looked back at the necklace, recollecting the memories where I had personally noticed Rani wearing and fiddling with the necklace. I remembered it had three number nines engraved on it. But why three?
"His name is Cole Norton." I informed Stefan.
"Do you know where he lives, or where we can find him?"
I remained silent, mentally recalling that terrible and fateful day, and the letter Rani left for me on my desk.
Dear Rai,
You are my little sister. You are my best friend. You are my blood. You are my life. You are my everything. And what I'm about to say, will upset you. But believe me, it upsets me more.
Today, I am leaving. I am running away with the love of my life, Cole. I'm so sorry Rai, I know how much this will hurt you, but I cannot marry someone I don't love. I love Cole, to the extent that I can't live without him.
I know what you would say if I had told you this face to face — Talk to mom and dad, they will eventually understand. But I have, Rai, and I'm sick of it. I'm sick of constantly arguing with them, I'm sick of waiting for them knowing that they'll never let Cole and I to be together.
Cole isn't a bad person, Rai, I swear on my life. Yes, he's rebellious, and gets into trouble with the police all the time, but there's another side to him, a soft and warm hearted side that no one has ever dug deep enough to see. He will take care of me and protect me, I'll be fine I promise. Man, I'm going to miss you like hell. But I know you're strong, and I promise this won't be the last time I see you.
With all my love, you're favourite elder sister
— Rani xoxoxoxoxoI was brought back to reality when Stefan wiped away a tear that I had unconsciously shed. I look up at him in surprise, to find his deep, earthy brown eyes staring back at me softly.
"Sorry, you don't have to speak about it if you don't want to." Stefan smiled apologetically.
I shook my head firmly. "No, I—"
"—Raiya Acharya."
My eyes focused on my father behind Stefan's shoulder, whose icy glare fixated on me.
Shoot.
Stefan turned around immediately. "Mr. Acharya." He greeted my father, whom didn't even acknowledge him. "Raiya was just showing me the way to the toilet."
"Raiya. Step away from this trouble boy and come with me right now." Dad ordered, his strong glare not wavering for a millisecond.
