"Cheyenne are you sure you're going to be ok at the new school?" My mom asked.

"Yes I'm going to be fine"
I say as I get a glass of water.

"Ok well you better get going or you're going to be late"   my mom says as she get up from the couch and kisses me on the cheek.

"Ok love you bye" I say as I grab my bag

"Love you too" my mom says as I close the door and I head to my car.

I would be lieing of i said I wasn't nerves. My mom and I moved to new Jersey because she got a new job here and also because I was severely bullied at my old school. I never got to meet my dad. He passed away when I was still in my moms stomach. And I was a only child. Oh and I'm 16. I'm a very shy person and I guess I was an easy target for bullies?

I park my car in the school parking lot and I get out and put my bag on my shoulder and walk in the school and no one was in the hallway. I was confused but then i realize that i was late for 1 period.
I rush around trying to find the principles room and I literally couldn't find it I was getting so scared that i was going to In trouble for runing everywhere in the school.
The bell rings and I panic.I see people rushing to there lockers.I turn around and bump into someone.

"Sorry"I said as I look down at the ground
"it's my fault" a guys says I look up at him and stand there.

"I'm Ethan" he says and puts his hand out for a shake.
" i-I'm Cheyenne" i said
Shaking his hand and I smile. "Are you new here I've never seen you here before?" Ethan said
"Yes and I'm extremely late I can't find the principles room"
"I can show you where it is if whould like?" He says
"Yes please"
