"Alright everyone. This is Ivan Braginski. He's from Russia. (Y/n), you will be showing him around today. I've already noted your other teachers as to why you will either be late and / or leave early to help Ivan. Ivan, you can go sit by (y/n)."
Said girl sighed. She was probably one of the worst candidates to show anyone around, let alone even be near them. There was a reason the seat next to her in almost all of her classes were empty. She was invisible to nearly everyone. Canada included. She watched from the corner of her eye aas he walked and sat down next to her, an innocent smile plastered to his face. She wondered if he would even take notice to her anyway. But, he did end up sitting next to the right person. So that's a start... Right?
Once the bell had rung, signaling the students to move on to their next class, (y/n) asked,
"M-may I see your s-schedule?" She asked, almost in a whisper to the much taller Russian.
"Da~ Here you go." He said, handing her his schedule. (y/n) sighed in relief. At least he had every class with her.. that would make life much easier on the both of them.
"Well.. looks like you have the same schedule as I do.. Come on. Let's go to english." She said, walking on with Ivan trailing after her.
-Timeskip to the end of school-
By the time the final bell had rung, (y/n) found a whole new side of Ivan to be very interesting. Someone had ended up making fun of him thinking they were better than him and decided to insult his mother language. Bad idea.
Ivan ended up chasing the poor kid around the cafeteria with a lead pipe he randomly pulled from his long jacket. He almost go into trouble with the teachers there, but had ended up getting away with it for 1) being new and 2) saying it was acceptable in school back in Russia. (y/n) had a doubt that last reason was true, but decided it was best to not push him on about it.
She sighed, grabbing her bag and walked out of the school, bumping into a few kids and apologizing, only to have them flip out about having some kind of entity bump into them and run off. She shrugged it off, used to that kind of reaction whenever something happened that she was involved in. Even during the school day she had walked in late with Ivan, and the teacher was completely confused as to why he just walked in, completely ignoring her.
She had begun walking home, only to have a large hand placed on her shoulder, making her squeak in surprise and turned around quickly to face the person, only for the hand to belong to Ivan.
"O-oh.. Hi Ivan." She said, relaxing a bit as he had taken his hand from her shoulder.
"Hello (y/n). I was wondering if I might walk with you home da~? I actually live next door." He said his innocent smile still on his face.
"U-uhm.. Sure." She said quietly, her (h/c) hair falling in front of her face.
-Timeskip to the next day-
The walk home yesterday had been fairly normal. Just a few conversation starters and then silence. Only for it to happen again as they continued the walk home.
Now, (y/n) and Ivan walk to and from school together, Ivan doing most of the talking, speaking about his home and how different it is in (country) than Russia. (y/n) was okay with him speaking. If anything, her talent was being able to listen to someone for hours on end without interrupting them or being bored.
During school, when the teachers had been placing partners, they either forgot to add (y/n) in a group, or paired the said girl and Ivan together. It was like they even shipped the two together and purposely placed them as partners.
