Yugi's POV

I was struggling not to fall asleep as boredom overcame me. *focus little one* I heard the voice say, I've been hearing this voice in the back of my mind ever since I completed the puzzle. I've grown used to it, it's actually comforting to hear it. 'Can't, I'm so tired' I thought, I had discovered that the voice could hear my thoughts. *did you have another nightmare last night?* 'yes' I thought sleepily. "Yuugi Motou! Are you paying attention young man!?" Mr. Docon yelled, everyone laughed as I was humiliated. "Y-yes sir" I replied shyly. I heard my friend growl *that was not right for him to do that to you* I was startled as the teacher smacked a ruler against my desk. "Mr. Motou, go to the principal's office now!" He commanded. Everyone laughed as I walked out of class sadly. *don't be sad little one* 'that was humiliating and I'm way too sensitive' I thought before I bumped into someone. I didn't think I could be more humiliated than before but I was wrong as I accidentally mewed. 'Why me?' I thought as I realized I had bumped into Seto Kaiba! One of his bodyguards grabbed me by my shirt and yanked me up to eye level. It was Shadow, Kaiba's most aggressive bodyguard. 'I'm screwed' I thought as Shadow beat me until I was barely conscious. *little one?!* I curled up whimpering and lay there until the end of school. "Yugi?!" I heard my friend Anzu ask concerned. I looked up at her "hmm" I whined. Anzu gently picked me up "who did this to you Yugi?" She asked sweetly. "Kaiba's attack dog Shadow" I replied. "Who's Shadow?" Jonouchi asked. "He's Kaiba's most aggressive bodyguard, he's a rare fox neko" I said. "How many bodyguards does the moneybag have?" Jonouchi asked angrily. "Three, Shadow is the head bodyguard, then there's Angel, he's a winged wolf shifter, he's aggressive but not as bad as Shadow and his third bodyguard is Logan who is also his chauffer. Logan is known for playing with his prey" I responded. I cuddled closer to Anzu as I felt pain spread through my body "argh" I whimpered. "He seriously injured you didn't he?" Anzu asked concerned. "Ti...re...d" I said losing consciousness.

Anzu's POV

I was walking with Jonouchi and Honda when I spotted Yugi lying on the floor barely conscious. "Yugi?!" I asked concerned. He looked up at me "hmm" he whined. I gently picked him up "who did this to you Yugi?" I asked sweetly. "Kaiba's attack dog Shadow" Yugi replied. "Who's Shadow?" Jonouchi asked. "He's Kaiba's most aggressive bodyguard, he's a rare fox neko" he said. "How many bodyguards does the moneybag have?" Jonouchi asked angrily. I looked at the other two boys "that jerk, how could he do that to Yugi?" I growled. I hugged Yugi close to me, "he couldn't even defend himself, Yugi hates fighting and violence" I said sadly. I looked down at him, he looked so helpless, it broke my heart seeing him so hurt. "He's like a little lion cub, adorable and defenseless but still has a mighty roar" Honda said randomly. "If Yugi's the cub then Anzu's the lioness" Jonouchi replied. I growled "well this lioness is going to go teach that wicked jackal a lesson he soon won't forget!" I said before handing Yugi to Jonouchi "keep Yugi safe, I don't want him getting stuck in the middle of this" I said before heading towards Kaiba's house. I didn't bother knocking, I kicked in the door and beat up anyone who tried to stop me from reaching Seto. "KAIBA!" I shouted angrily.

Roxy's POV

I was startled by someone kicking in the front door and my friends screaming for mercy. I shivered in fear, who had the ability to take down Shadow and Angel. Those two are the strongest ones I know. I cautiously trotted down the hall and poked my head around the corner, my friends were on the floor unconscious. "KAIBA" I heard someone shout angrily. 'What did my child do that pissed this girl off so much?' I thought. "Excuse me" I said calmly. She turned her attention to me "what did Seto do this time?" I asked. She growled "he injured my smallest, most kind hearted friend, I want to make him pay!" She snapped. I shrunk back frightened 'I can't protect you this time my child' I thought before sighing "upstairs, down the hall to the right, third door from the end of the hallway. That's where you'll find Seto" I reluctantly said. She looked confused "don't you work for Kaiba? Why would you reveal his location to me?" She questioned. "No I don't work for Kaiba, I'm his caregiver, like a doctor. To answer your second question, Seto got himself into this mess, he can get himself out. I won't baby him, but trust me if I wanted to I could take you down before you could blink but what lesson would Seto learn if I were to solve his problems for him?" I said before heading back to the medbay. "By the way, my name is Roxanne Wolf but you can call me Roxy. What's your name?" I asked. "My name is Anzu" she replied. "Ok Anzu, don't hurt Kaiba too much, I am the one who has to listen to his complaining afterwards" I said. "You seem nice, is it possible if you would tend to my friend Yugi?" Anzu questioned. I smiled "ok, I'll be waiting outside for you" I replied before walking out the front door and sitting on the chair on the porch.
