~Auburn
I woke up to the vibration of my cell phone on my nightstand. It couldn't have been no later than 6 a.m. by the looks of the sky. I felt Andreas' arms wrapped around me and Heaven in front of me. I must have been really tired to not realize she came in here. I picked up my phone and saw an unknown number calling me. I didn't know whether or not to answer but I seemed to have a bunch of missed calls from this number.
I snuck out of bed and onto my balcony to answer. When I did I recognized the voice that always gave me so much comfort in the past.
"Shane he's looking for you!" She cried, panicking into the phone.
"Vanessa, slow down. What do you mean?" I asked almost on the verge of crying myself.
"He came to my house, yelling and screaming. He's looking for you and he won't stop until he finds you. I'm somewhere in Georgia, he was trying to find me. I'm assuming to get answers." She sighed finally calming down.
"Vanessa, come stay with me, we can figure something out. I'm in Atlanta. Where are you?" I whispered going to my room to put on some shoes.
"I don't know, a bus station here in Augusta. Can you please hurry?"
"Yeah, I'm on the way." I hung up and quickly grabbed my keys off of the kitchen counter.
I crept to the front foor, carefully opening it and closing it. I locked it and went to my car and drove to the bus station. All the way thinking of how he managed to find Vanessa. For all he knew, I had no friends. I must have been careless and stupid, leaving behind something and now she's in danger with me. I wanted to keep her away from my reckless husband but now that he knows her, he won't stop until he has us. At this point I begin crying hysterically, I don't want to run, but if he gets any closer to finding me, I won't have a choice.

"Vanessa, what happened?" I ran up to her and hugged her tightly.
"We'll talk on the way to your place." She stated calmly.
We got in the car and drove in silence until she spoke up.
"Look, he's not gonna stop until he finds you. He wants his daughter mostly, but he's going to hurt you. I can't let that happen Shane." Vanessa said calmly.
"How did he find you?" I asked curiously.
"I don't know, I wasn't home when he trashed my house. He left a note and so I ran and now I'm here. Shane, we need to go to the police."
"No we can't, you said it yourself, he's too well respected. He has money and he has connections, I can't do anything but hide. If he finds me, then I'm running again until he's tired of the chase." I shurgged.
"Shane, he wants Kayla. He won't stop until you suffer for taking her from him. I know you need the reassurance but I speak real and honestly, baby girl, unless he's dead or in jail, which I doubt, you're on the run until he has you two."
I sighed and pulled into the parking garage. I can't deal, I won't ever catch a break for as long as I live. He's going to kill me if I don't do something.
"I guess I need to stop running and go back. This game of cat and mouse is getting old. I'll take whatever he throws at me, but I can't drag Kayla around everytime he comes at me."
Vanessa took me by my shoulders and shook the hell out of me. She stopped and stared into my tear filled eyes.
"You will NOT go back to him! Do you hear me?!" She shouted. "He will kill you, Kayla won't grow up without you. Don't ever say no shit like that again! You can't drag her back to him either, she's doing better off following you around the world than witness her mom get beat to death! We'll figure something out, but until then calm these crazy ass thoughts down." I nodded and we got out.
