As quickly as a drastic smile can appear upon his face, a grim demeanor shadows over Kaito once again. His eyes transfigures back into his original, rich sapphire hue. "Look, you have two choices. You can either tell me answers right now, or I can be a nice, well-mannered gentleman...and let you run away from me and this one hell of a detective's catastrophe. As if nothing happened in the first place."
"Run...run away...from you?" Mochi stutters as she now stands a little further away from Kaito. Well, that's perfect, is it not? It's true- she does want to flee from here, and free herself from all the murder mysteries she's forced into being involved in. She can elude and escape as she pleases, right here and right now. But for some reason...a part of her didn't want to leave the troublesome, overwhelmingly freakish man in front of her.
"Yes my lady, that's right. But you must pick now. You have only two options. If you can't obey one or the other...I must kill you with my own hands. Because everything happened right before your eyes." Kaito starts to make his way towards her again.
"Stop getting close to me! Give me some time to think! I-" She couldn't finish her sentence. Once again, Kaito closes the very little distance they have. His hand on her chin, he faces her up, making her gaze into his deep blue orbs again, momentarily and practically taking her breath away again. "Pick one. Now."
"Alright, alright!" Mochi tears herself away from his grasp, rubbing her chin. "I..I'll stay. But before I give answers...I'll have questions to ask you as well. You can't be the only one questioning me."
Relieved that she decides to remain here with him, he relaxes himself. "Very well, mistress. I'm very interested to see how this tragedy will turn out..."
Mysteries. Riddles. Murders. Crimes. My, they truly are hard to resolve. Where shall this story take us next...?
