[Guess what!]

"Y/N! Where are you?!" You were currently sprinting out your door on the phone with your infuriated boss trying to explain why you're late again.

"I'm sorry! My alarm didn't go off!" you stressed over the phone.

"Is that the only excuse you're able to come up with? Maybe you should get a new phone if it happens this often!" they yelled once more earning a roll of the eyes from you.

"I would if I had the money." you murmured to yourself as you hopped on one foot, attempting to get your shoe on.

"It won't happen again, I promise!"

"I know it won't..." a wave of relief soured through you at your higher-up's words.

"because you're fired!" your eyes widened.

"F-Fired?" you were just barely able to get out.

"F. I. R. E. D!" he spelt out slowly as if to mock you. Looking up at the rear-view mirror in your car, you noticed a warm tear rolling down your cheek. You quickly wiped it, gathering up what little courage you had left to speak.

"A-Alright." you managed to get out of your choked up throat.

"I'll come get my belongings..." after hanging up, you allowed your head sag on the steering wheel, fists clenched around the black leather. You hit your head against it a few times, causing the horn to go off with every point of contact.

"Ugh, Y/N...why do you have to be such a fuck up?" jumping up to the feeling of vibration on your lap, your gaze fell upon your phone to see you were receiving a call from your strict, yet caring, mother. You stared at it for a second before grasping it and answering it.

"Y/N!" the shriek of your mother as soon as you answered caused you to pull it away from your ear, wincing at the sudden, sharp pain. Bringing it back to your throbbing ear, you replied.

"Yes, mom?" your tone was a little annoyed. Knowing your mother, she'd probably go off on the fact you still haven't settled down with someone. You rolled your eyes even thinking about it.

"Guess what!" you could practically see her jumping through the phone. Hugging out as you were just starting to get annoyed, you played along.

"What's the occasion this time, my lovely mother?" you chirped sarcastically, still making it sound as realistic as possible when in truth you really wanted to end the call.

"You're going on vacation!" choking on your saliva, you rapidly started questioning her.

"Vacation?! When? Where? Why? How?!" you were very eager for an answer. Now sitting up straight, your eyebrows furrowed as you were now focused on everything she was saying.

"Tomorrow! That's a surprise...Because you need a break and I paid for it!" something about this was fishy...

A surprise?

You pushed your thoughts to the side and sighed. If it was fun, why not? Clearing your throat, you began speaking again.

"I guess I'll start packing. Talk to you later, mama. Buhbye~" she told you how much she loved you and you finally hung up. A big breath left your mouth as you shifted your shoulders, started your car, and drove to your former job to retrieve your items.

~LATER~

You were comfortable on your couch after returning. A notification popped up on your phone, which you had been staring at for the past hour. It read-

@kimseok_princess posted "Big plans coming up! Can't wait! ✌️🤪"

Ugh...I still follow that narcissist?

Kim Seokjin. One of your former lovers. You don't really have the greatest opinion on him anymore after he left you for his mirror. Another notification appeared.

@mr_swag commented on @kimseok_princess's post "Did you get invited too?"

Min Yoongi. Another one of your former lovers. He was more focused on his job so you ended up breaking things off with him. There were a couple others before and after them but most of your relationships were just short term flings. Like...

Jung Hoseok. Left you for another girl. That girl was a slut but all he wanted was sex so you really didn't care.

Park Jimin. Ended up being gay. Which wasn't really a big deal, things just ended up being awkward between to two of you.

Kim Namjoon. You only went on a few dates with him. It was never anything serious.

Jeon Jungkook. Your high school fling. You were head cheerleader and he was on the football team. Cliche but you get it. You thought he cheated on you so you left.

And Kim Taehyung. You just weren't good enough for him. And soon he became successful in acting and singing. You couldn't lie to yourself, you really enjoyed his movies and songs.

There were a couple girls but just for "experience." But they're all irrelevant to this story. ;)

You ended up being uninterested with your phone for the rest of the night so you packed. Your mother didn't give you a lot of information so you just kinda grabbed whatever. All she said was pack, sleep, and be ready by 12:30 for your flight.

This is going to be interesting...can't wait.
