The next day/Tuesday

I walk downstairs and I rush and grab my lunch bag and start packing

"good morning"
my mom says rubbing her eyes from just waking up "good morning" I say back

"Cheyenne?" She says

Y-yeah I say it looking in the cabinets for something to put in my lunch bag

"You never told me how school was yesterday was it okay? are you being bullied already?" She asked

"Mom it was fine I actually met a lot of nice people I'm even going to go hang out with some of them today after school. if that's okay with you?"

"Oh well I'm glad to hear that. and yes you can just make sure you come home before 10" she says while making some coffee

"Thanks!" I say and give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek
I say and close the door

I get into my car and Ethan texts me

Ethan: hey are coming to school?

Me : yes I'm on my way also why was Grayson not at school yesterday. is he in any of my classes just curious.

Ethan : he was late and LOL I don't know.

Me: ok igtg

I had Aaron in 1 period
And now I'm going into 2 period and I have those group of girls that were mean to me yesterday.
I walk in the classroom and find my seat and make sure it was the seat I was sitting in yesterday.

Still everyone staring at me that was one of my biggest pet peeves.

finally second period Was over and I go to my locker and Ethan's Locker was right across from mine he walks to his locker and giving me a smile as I do the same.
moments later the girl that what's in my class came up to Ethan and yelled at him . "stay away from her are you cheating on me with her?"
and points at me

I turn around and put a book in my Locker I didn't know what to do.Ethan was dating the girl that was mean to me that's great.

"No of course she's new here and I'm just a friend"
Ethan say to her

And of course everyone just stares at me as they watch them fight about me.

"Hey" she says and walks over to me

"You better stay away from him you understand me?" She says

I turn and face her
"Last time I checked you're not my parent"
I say as my heart was beating this was the first time I actually stood up for myself it felt good

"Oh you bitch!" she slaps me on my cheek
I touch my cheek as I feel a stinging sensation
and I look over at Ethan he had a surprised look on his face. and then i see Grayson walk out of a classroom
I run to out of the school and sit on the outside bench and cry. I couldn't take being Bullied I'd let people get to me way too easily.
"Hey Cheyenne are you ok?"
I hear someone say
I look up and it's Grayson he puts his hand on my shoulder and sets next to me on the bench

"no I can't handle being bullied she doesn't even know me I wasn't trying to take her away from Ethan I just wanted to be his friend" I say as tears run down my face.

"Hey don't listen to her
Me and Ethan are still going to be your friends okay"

Grayson says as he wipes a tear off my face I smile.
on the inside I felt butterflies in my stomach

" we should probably get back I'll walk with you"

he says and stands up

"Thanks Grayson"
I say

As we soon as we walk in everyone stares at us and I look at the ground
I walk to my locker grab the rest of my books and Grayson does the same and takes me to my classroom which we are both in.

Skip to 4th period

The bell rings and I pack my stuff up and head to my locker. I put my stuff in my locker and grab my lunch bag and head to the cafeteria where I see Spencer, Billie ,and Mavrey and they wave and signal me to go over and sit with them.

"Hey" I say

"So what happened between you and Lauren I heard that she slapped you are you okay" Billy asks

" well I hung out with Ethan Grayson and Aaron and Cameron yesterday and I guess she might have seen me with them at one point and she went off on him asking him if he was cheating on her with me and then he said no we're just friends and she told me to stay away from him and I made a sarcastic comment and she slapped me"

"Oh wow she's a bitch"
mavrey said and I nod

Skip to 5th period

"Hey Cheyenne"

Grayson yells and heads to my locker

" are you still coming over to my house after school" he asks

" yeah who's all going to be there?" I say

"Oh just Ethan ,me ,Aaron and Cameron" Grayson says

"Ok cool I'll be there"
I say

"Ok see you there" he says and goes to his locker
