"Your fragile state is very concerning, as well as the swelling of your brain..." My mind triggered off to the doctors nasal and annoying voice. "And your blood sugar...." All I could think about was about Tyler and how he actually came to see me! "You will have to stay here for a couple of more days." My smile immediately turned into a frown.

"What? But I'm fine doctor! Really!" I empathised with enthusiasm.

"I'm afraid not Kate. You almost died! Your body is under a lot of pressure, you could collapse any minute. Having you here is the best option," he said with his nostrils flaring.

I rolled my eyes in exasperation. I definitely wasn't one of his favourite patients. But I didn't care! All I could think about was Tyler! And his gentle touch, and his brown eyes... When was the next time I can see him again?! All my family and friends came to visit me, saying how lucky I am but whilst my body was here at the hospital, my mind transcended to another place, thinking about him. It was like I was a victim, and I am voluntarily surrendering myself to him.

'Woah Kate. What you going on about? You don't even know the guy! Don't be like all the other girls who are totally in love with him...' My conscience chanted. I groaned. I was right, because what difference would I make anyways. He didn't even know I existed.

I hoped Tyler would have gone to visit me in the remaining days in the hospital, but as I realistically assumed, he didn't. My heart dropped at the thought of it. I actually thought he was going to come, but then again, I also thought he wasn't going to come. And now with 'Doctors orders', I couldn't even go to the beach just to see him.

It's been a week since our eyes met, and each day has been killing me insanely from the inside. My mum is making me go to this charity event, urgh, something about feeding the hungry I think? I wasn't sure, but I was sure that I certainly did not want to go. She almost dragged me by my shirt all the way to the car and to the event. I just stood there like an idiot holding a bucket and smiling and thanking people for their donations. This was totally embarrassing, at least everyone from school has passed me in town just giggling at the sight of me in an oversized t-shirt saying 'Feed the hungry' with a bucket in my hand, in which I was so tempted in putting the bucket over my head. Suddenly, someone brushes by me and bumps their bucket into mine. It was probably one of my mums friends, or an old guy trying to hit on me.

"I must say, I think I'm beating you at how many donations I've gotten! I think it must be of my good looks... Or my muscles.. Hm not quite too sure, I think it's both! What do you think?"

A chill spiralled down my spine instantly when I heard that voice. Immediately I knew who it was, and when I looked at his brown eyes, my knees instantly went weak. Tyler.

"Oh you know, it depends. Normally the old ladies tend to go for the... You know, the not so good looking guys. They tend to feel bad for them as probably they're not getting as much donations," I said with a side smile, along with a friendly pat on his shoulder. He instantly grinned.

"Woah! That was a good one, thought I was gonna get back at you, but you've done it again! Hey, I haven't seen you for a while! What was your name.. Kat?" He asked.

I winced. "It's Kate," I muttered.

"Ah yes Kate! I've been trying to get my mind wrapped around it for the last couple of days!" My face brightened up. That means he was thinking about me! "How have you been Kate? Why haven't you been at the beach recently?" He questioned.

"Doctors orders. And I don't want to repeat another accident. I'm a walking hazard in action, trust me."

"Well it's good to see you here helping out the hungry!" He reassured with a smile.
