I slowly stepped over a log, sucking in a breath when the picked up making me shiver. I adjusted my jacket and looked around the woods I was in, trees surrounded me and I was hunting alone. Someone came up missing in these woods and I was going to make sure whatever was causing harm would die, I wasn't sure what this monster this was but I was going to find out. A gun was placed in my hand and I was ready to shoot anything that would come after me, Dean Winchester was the one to give me this gun. He told me to never use it but he wasn't the boss of me, we worked a case a few years ago, "If only he was here now," I whispered to myself.
I bent down when I came upon a trail and narrowed my eyes at the claw marks on the trees when I looked up, "What is out here," I quietly spoke rubbing my hands along the marks.

A branch broke suddenly and a growl emerged making me wince at the sound, I was still bending down and I whipped my head towards the sound. I needed to get out of here but I was sure I wasn't going to make it out of here alive. I reached for my phone and another roar ripped through the air, I searched for the contact. The one person that I knew would help me, I pressed the call bottom quickly. Putting it up against my ear, heating the phone ringing, "What do you want?" His voice echoed through the phone.

"Dean," I whimpered through the phone, another branch snapped, "I need your help, I'm in Mi-," But I was cut off by a force to the back of my head, I dropped my phone to the ground and tried to crawl away from the monster but it grabbed my leg, it dragged me away and all I could hear were Deans screams through the phone.

HIS POV
I rushed towards car with Sam trailing behind me, "Dean, what are you doing?" He yelled after me making me stop in my tracks.

"Someone is in trouble that I used to know," He raised his eyebrows at me, he wanted to know more but I wasn't sure if I wanted to tell him or not because he was in college at the time, "Her name is Y/n," I muttered turning toward the trunk of the impala, "It was back when you were in college, we worked a few cases together while dad was off doing his own thing," I continue to say but I didn't want to talk about anymore.

"Dean," He leaned up against the side of the car, "Why would we go save someone that you haven't seen in how many years," He finished speaking and I groaned, rubbing the back of my neck.

"I promised her father that I would look after if she was in trouble," I muttered and took in a quick breath before closing the trunk hatch, "Come on, we have to go to Michigan. She was attacked and I'm going to save her," I finished walking toward the drivers side of the car.
"Fine let's go then," And we got in the car and started driving towards the direction of Michigan.

We pulled into a hotel parking lot, parking in a spot close to the lobby. I shut off the car and got out of the car quickly, walking towards the direction of the main lobby of the small hotel. We asked around town and they told us that she was staying here, "Dean, you need to calm down and get your head on straight," I heard Sam say from behind me but I was to focused on the task at hand.

I opened the door and walked straight towards the desk, a young man was sitting at the front desk. He peeked up looking to see who came into the room, he raised his eyebrow at me, "Can I help you?" He asked me when I got to the counter.

"Yes, I was wondering if you saw this girl," And I showed him a picture of Y/n, "I want to know where she went and which room she stayed in this hotel," I added holding my phone out to him.
He grabbed my phone, "Yes she was in her a few days ago but she left in the late afternoon yesterday to go on a hike," He started and I raised my eyebrows at him, "Trust me, I watched her drive away. I think she grabbed on of those over there, Breakaway trails is what it's called," He added and I snatched my phone away.

I walked passed Sam as he walked into the lobby, "Dean," He groaned and he followed after me, "Dean,"  He said a little more sternly.

I turned towards him and flared at him, "What?" I snapped at him, "She could be in danger and I'm not going to do nothing to try to save her."

"Why do you even care? She's just another hunter," He questioned while raising one eyebrow.
"She's not just another hunter, Sam," I took a step forward and took in a breath in, "She's been there for me when dad and you weren't around," I continued to talk but stopped for a moment thinking the times we had together, Sam looked at me weirdly, "I cared about her, dad did as well," I finished running my hand through my hair.

"Then let's go," Sam quickly moved towards the car and go in, he looked at me, waiting for me to get inside. I rushed towards the car and started the car back up, driving in the direction we needed to go.
*————*
I woke up to the sudden pain of my arms above my head, I blinked a few times before realizing I was completely in the dark, "Wha-what," I looked around to see others tied up like I was. Then I realized what the monster was, a wendigo. The sound of footsteps started creeping towards our direction but it walked towards a man with blood running down his face.

A growl emerged from the creature and my breath hitched in my throat, I was beyond terrified of the monster in front of me. Once it got closer to the man, the creature reached out and stabbed the man in the stomach with its claws, he screamed in pain. I turned away from the mess and winced as I heard the mans screams, I wanted to help him but I couldn't if I was tied up.
All of a sudden, shots were being fired out of nowhere. The creature roared abruptly but the bullets weren't effecting it.

"It's a wendigo," I turned towards the figure and noticed it was, Dean Winchester, "Dean," I screamed at him but then I felt someone untie my hands, "Who are you?"

"Sam?"

"Winchester?" I widened my eyes and turned towards Dean, he was laying on the ground with the monster over top of him," I screamed towards him and the monster looked towards Sam and I then growled at us. I looked around and found a flare gun, I lunged forward and grabbed the gun. I grunted in pain but pointed it towards it and pulled the trigger, the flare landed in the center of the wendigo's chest. The monster busted into flames and crumbled to the ground before us, I sighed.

I rested my head against the ground, "Y/n," I heard a deep voice say, I looked toward the voice. Dean was staring at me, "Are you okay?" He slowly got up from the ground and walked towards me, he helped me up and wrapped his arm around my waist to help me from falling.
"I'm okay," I responded to him then looked towards, "It's nice to finally meet you, Sam," He chuckled and told me it was nice to meet me as well. I was just glad that I was saved by the Winchester's.

"Why were you out hunting alone in the first place," Dean said sternly when Sam walked away, I looked down at the ground knowing it was wrong
