-When the characters eyes are half the size of their head.

Since when did Eragon Shadeslayer become a member of the Powerpuff Girls?

-When artists change the sexuality of a character just for the fanart.

Umm, excuse me? Murtagh and Eragon? Girl no, it's Eragon and Arya, get your ship straight.

-When fanart is so good and so amazing that's it's better than the actual cover of the book or anime.

Anyone ever have this happen? Yes? No? Ok.

-When artists draw in some random character of theirs for the actual character to fall in love with.

This happened to me the other day, I was looking at Murtagh fanart and found one with some lady. I couldn't tell if she was an elf or a human, and her eyelashes went like an inch off of the sides of her face. Like come on, are you supposed to be a Barbie?

-When a character is drawn to look exactly opposite from their book description.

Hello? Is that a feathery Saphira or the Legendary Pokemon Articuno?

-When the facial features are wrong.

Eyes half the size of the head? Check. Nonexistent nose? Check. Line for a mouth? Check. Ears, what are these so called ears you speak of?

-When the rest of the body is wrong!

How about a wimpy Murtagh everyone! Because we all know he doesn't train every day and that he's never bested the almighty Eragon! Nope, no-muscle Murtagh here you go!

-When something happens once in an anime and every single fanart includes it.

Ok this is me looking up Ciel Phantomhive. Oh hey, a dress like that one episode..and another dress....a different dress.....and again, a dress... *sigh*

-When fanart is too accurate.

Basically it's a screenshot with a small dot where nobody can see it.

-When the colors in a fanart are waay over exaggerated.

As in Little Lord Phantomhive's hair is neon blue while the infamous dress is hot pink.

-When an artist turns a character into something creepy and sexual.

I did not need to see Eragon in fishnet leggings and a speedo!

-When you see a genderbend gone wrong.

Do I even need to explain?

-When someone changes the hair color of an actor and calls it fanart.

No. Arya is not in real life Megan Fox. No offense to Megan, I mean she could pass as Arya with the right makeup...but we'll all remember her as the chick from Transformers, right?

This last one isn't fanart, but i still wanted to rant about it.

-When the producers make a good book a crappy movie.

Don't even get me started on the Eragon movie. Just no.
