After I explained what happened at the party, the car was deathly silent apart from Charli's loud breathing. I turned around to see Charli sleeping, with her head rested on Tori's in the backseat.

The tear streaks on her face lit-up in the moonlight

I sighed loudly

Poor Charli. She needs a man in her life. A RESPONSIBLE man that will look after her.

"What are you thinking about?" Cam says with a questioning look.

I'm so lucky to have a guy that knows me so well and cares about me

"Oh, I'm just thinking about Charli" I replied softly

His face automatically softens

"Yea I know" he said softly. "Luke is an idiot"

"She's so sweet..."I trailed off

When we dropped her off at her house, Miss Porter gasped and glared at me, asking what happened to her baby

I sighed and told her the whole story about Luke and the party, and the spiked drink.

Her eyes brimmed over with tears

I guess you could say she's just a little over dramatic

"Luke is such a bad influence on her" she sobbed. "She can do so much better"

I rolled my eyes. I wonder where she gets it from? I glared at her, before putting on a fake smile.

"Well" I said through gritted teeth. "I need to go now".

She gave me a smile and thanks me for dropping her off

"Thanks Shay" I heard Charli whisper from inside

I sighed, "get some rest Charli"

I waved to Charli from outside and walked away, not bothering to say goodbye to her mother

Let's just say I don't have a very good relationship with her mum

I opened the car door to a glaring Cam

"What!" I said

"Why are you so rude to each other?" He sighed

I rolled my eyes

"Jeez she is so annoying!" I said as we drove off. "She rants about how she can do better than Luke, when she can't even find a decent man herself!" I ranted.

"She is hardly ever home and when she is, she barely talks to Charli and Mia!". "She just hooks up with random guys and doesn't listen to either of the girls!". My unsuspecting boyfriend rolls his eyes at my ridiculous ranting

"I swear if I were a mother, I would be having a word to her!" I said, shaking my head

Cam nodded and continued concentrating on the road

"Stupid woman" I muttered, as Cam pulled over at my house.

"Bye babe" he said, kissing me on the cheek.

"Thanks Cam" I said

"Get some rest!" he replied, before I shut the car door.

I gave a smile and watched him drive off
