-sigh- Well another day of training. What could possibly go wrong, right? -nervous laughter- I was setting my equipment to prepare for practice. First of: Sword fight. I got the dummy in position and got in a fighting stance. I withdraw my sword and attacked the dummy straight on.Quite simple, I must say.
A few minutes had passed and I was getting weary so I took a break. Then, I heard something move from the bushes. I quickly got up from my feet and pulled out my sword. Completely aware of the things that move up and about. It's probably just a Korok searching for food... I hope. But my expectations were very much wrong. I started to move closer but being sure to be quiet as I possibly can.
I ducked behind the bush and listened very carefully, but... nothing. It might just be my imagination toying with me or I REALLY heard something, I'm very much on edge now... then I did the most stupidest thing ever. I got up and went back to my usual spot from earlier. -rustle rustle- I stopped from my tracks and immediately look back. My eyes widens in complete shock and horror. There, right in front of me was a Bokoblin. Without thinking twice, I dashed for it. The Bokoblin let out the most terrifying battle cry and this made my every hair stand on its end as I continued to run for dear life. Then it did something that I feared most- It started to chase me!
Adrenaline, once again, rushed through my entire body. I was running shamelessly throughout the forest, luckily I found a stump, big enough for a person to hide behind. But it was a bit far so I had to pick up the pace. I jumped over a ledge, slid down a tree and slipped behind the stump. I waited a bit longer and peeked around the top. The Bokoblin was gone. Smiling, I came out from my hiding spot. I'd give myself a pat on the back, but my happiness soon turned to fear when another one appeared out of nowhere. I had enough running so it leaves me no choice but to kill it. I know I ran away from one a few minutes ago but this time, I WILL kill it.
Thinking of a strategy on how to take it down, I decided I was gonna ambush it. I sneaked behind a tree and climbed at the top. I took out my bow and arrow and shoot, not intentionally hitting it but to distract it. The Bokoblin jerked its head at the direction of the arrow, completely unaware of my presence. Taking this opportunity, I pull out my sword and jumped down, slicing its arm off. The Bokoblin let out a cry as I sliced the other arm and kicking it square in the face. It fell down to the ground. I towered over it and stabbed its head, putting it out of its misery. Blood squirted all over my clothes and a bit on my face. I smile triumphantly, "Whoa, I never knew I could do that!". Just then, I heard a loud -thud- behind me. I turn around as quickly as I can and jumped back when another Bokoblin face planted on the ground. It had an arrow on its head. Tilting my head to the side, confused and eager to know who killed this beast. "You should be more careful."
I turn my head in all directions, hoping to find the source of the sound. Then I caught a a glimpse of a rather familiar face, "Hey (Y/N), missed me?" The edges of my mouth curl upwards, happy to see my trusty friend again. I run up to him and gave him the most tightest bear hug ever. "Yah! I missed you too!" I finally let him go, "I saw what you did back there, that was AWESOME!" "Heh... thanks." "Oh yeah! Didn't I mention that I promised to help you improve your skills in archery?" I nod, "Well, c'mon!" Link holds my hand and starts heading back. Of course, I was blushing like a madman.
