When i first got my letter, my mother was beyond thrilled. She didn't think i would've been allowed to attend Hogwarts because of my family's background but i am indeed a pureblood so Dumbledore had no choice.

America Lestrange. Yes my mother is indeed Bellatrix Lestrange and my father, well i'm not really sure. I've been living with Rudolphus Lestrange for all my life but I've been told that he was not my father, but then who is? I've always thought about it, i tried not to but my mind always wandered to it. If Rudolphus shared no family blood with me why do we have the same last name?

"America, it's time," My mother's cackling voice interrupted my train of thoughts. I turned my head away from the window i have not knowingly been staring out of, i got off the bed and went over to the pile of luggage that i had packed the night before. I looked around my room, was i going to miss it? My feelings were so mixed up. I don't know if i felt happy that i was able to attend Hogwarts and meet so many other people similar to me. Or was i scared, i knew the students there were going to be scared of me because of my family and their past. Oops i did it again, i'm starting to overthink, trying to get the worrying thoughts out of my head i proceeded to look around my room, one last time before i went out and closed the door.

I walked downstairs into the living room only to be greeted by the Malfoy's.

"Hello Aunt Narcissa and Uncle Lucius" I greeted them, they both smiled at me but then went back to their conversation with my mother and Rudolphus. Where's Draco? I scanned around the room trying to find him but he wasn't there. I walked around the living room, looking under the tables, sofas, whatever that he could be hiding under until i saw a glimpse of him outside the window. He was on his own sitting on a swing looking down at his hands. I squinted, trying to see what was in his hands that captured his attention, but it was too far away. I looked at the Grandfather clock that was in the middle of the hallway, it was 9:45 am and the train to Hogwarts was leaving at 11. Surely i would have enough time to play with Draco before we left. Running to the front door i was immediately hit with a strong gust of wind, mumbling to myself that i should've brought my jumper. The closer i got to Draco, i saw that he was holding something small in his palm. I reached him and i saw that he was holding an injured baby bird, one of its wing has been pressed down so it couldn't fly off, it was chirping in pain.

Draco turned to look at me, his steel grey eyes filled with worry.

"What do we do?"

I stared at him back before replying.

"End it out of its misery,"
