31. Amortentia (Fluff)

"I cannot believe you got us late to Professor Shirogane's class!" Keith hisses as Lance tries to get into the potions classroom before Keith. "It's not my fault that you wanted to pick a fight with me!" Lance finally has enough strength to push Keith back so he could finally get through the door. "You're such a tool Lance! I didn't pick a fight with you! I accidentally pushed you down the stairs, so what!" Keith rolls his eyes and sits in his spot beside Lance in front of their cauldron. "For Merlin's sake Keith! I'm pretty sure we both know that you purposefully pushed me down the stairs!" Lance sets his bag down and fixed his robes.

"BOYS! If you do mind, sit down and be quiet. I had just began explaining how to brew amortentia." The boys freeze and reply at the same time, "Yes Professor." The two watch and begin to start brewing the potion together.

As they finish the potion, Lance watches it swirl and the colour brightens. Then suddenly the smell of Keith's perfume get stronger and smells the lavender from their bedroom. "God Keith, did you dump the lavender on your robes today?!" Lance rolls his eyes and Keith just scoffs. "I did not! Did you l to put your quidditch clothes beside your robes? It's disgusting!" Lance gasps, "Like you're the one to talk! What did you do drown your head in shampoo?" Keith glares at him, "So you know I didn't even have a shower this morning because SOMEONE decided to stay up all night talking to Lotor and wasn't quiet about it! So I slept in!" Keith grabs his bag and looks at the clock.

"Lance - Keith." Professor Shirogane starts but both of them stand up and fight each other and the clock chimes and everyone gets up and the professor just shakes his head and looks at the mess his students left.

The two walk angrily to their next class. The entire time the entire school was talking about how the two had smelt their scents of each other. It wasn't until the end of the day when people started talking to them about it in the Gryffindor tower.

"So Lance, how's your boyfriend?" Pidge walks up to him. Lance looks at her weirdly. "Boyfriend? Who?" Lance asks and Pidge smirks.

"Keith, your boyfriend."

"WHAT! NONONONONO KEITH? BEING MY BOYFRIEND?" Pidge only smirks.

"Oh? I'm assuming you'd get together." Pidge turns to Hunk.

"Well I guess I owe you my pudding for the rest of the week." Hunk laughs and looks at Lance.

"Yeah, I was assuming you were gonna talk about it since you smelt each other in the potion." Hunk and Pidge walk off leaving Lance in shock and everyone in the room whispers and Lance runs up to his dormitory. His cheeks are red and his heart is racing.

"K-Keith." Lance stutters while looking for Keith who is hiding under his pillow. "G-Go away Lance." Keith stutters and Lance guesses he figured it out too.

"I-I um... we should talk..." Lance says and Keith only sits up and avoids eye contact. "Can we not? It's something we can just forget." Keith says while getting off his bed. "Keith we can't just forget this! We have to talk about this!" Lance watches him walk towards the nearest window. "What's there to talk about anyways?" Keith sits down on the ledge.

"How about the fact that we have the capability of loving each other?" Lance says quietly and Keith tenses. "Or how about the fact we are each other's true love..." Lance stands up and Keith keeps looking out the window. Lance sighs and Keith glances at him for the first time. He sees Lance with a huge blush on his face, and Keith can't help but go red himself.

"How about we have lunch together? Y-You know just to try to get to know each other more? I-If you want to..." Keith suggests and Lance's eyes widen. Lance smiles and nods, "I'll go get us something to eat, no one is gonna interrupt us up here." Keith smiles and nods, "While we're at it? Wanna do our potions essay together?" Keith asks and Lance nods with a smile on his face.

Keith smiles and watches lance leave the dormitory and goes to get something to eat for the two. Keith smiles at the thought of Lance and him being together even if it was just to study.

In the end, the two just got to know each other and messed around until late. The two ended up falling sleep in each other's arms. Hunk walks into their dorm to go to bed and only smiles at the two cuddling with each other. He decides to leave them be before going to bed.

The two ended up being together until the very end...
