I really wasn't expecting for this to happen, to be just left behind to someone else that isn't family related. Or were they....
It happened, all of a sudden. We were at a funeral, for an Uncle that I've only heard about that has been missing. Just for my grandparents to find out, his dead. They didn't told them the cause of his death, but they said that they already prepared a funeral for him.
I don't understand why someone must be sad at that day. The gloomy weather, goes with everyone's gloomy faces of our family.
But that day, I sense someone... or something looming to me.... Behind me....
I then felt a hand on my shoulder, which made me flinch from my daze. I looked behind me then up. It was a guy... at his teens to be exact. He looks scary for my age, but.... I saw something behind him. I felt scared about it... just seeing it...
He then kneeled down to my level and put his hand that was on my shoulder, on to the top of my hand
"So you can see it?" he asked me
"You mean... the ghost behind you?" I asked back to him. He then turned to his companions with a hard look.
We finally head home, should I even call that now. I was playing with the guy with gray hair and told me his name was Jean Pierre Polnareff. He kept playing with me and acted like an older brother to me. While his two companions was talking to my so called 'mother'.
She really doesn't care to me to begin with. Sure she feeds me, gives me shelter, and everything a kid needs. But, we don't have that mother-daughter bond. I was just 'his' daughter... the daughter of the man who left her when he found out she was pregnant.
My 'mother' is the older cousin on the mother/father side of the Uncle whose funeral we attended. My grandparents told me that my attitude was the same as his when he was young. I just really have no idea as to why I don't want to get close to someone, or anyone in my age. He decided to travel back to Egypt again and they just thought he was running away from home. They got worried since they've never heard of him again, and now getting the news that he died made them more devastated.
Polnareff-san's companion came back to the living room, with my 'mother' who can't meet my eyes. She just walked upstairs, to her room I guess. I then turned my attention to the three, who was having a serious conversation. The old man then turned to me and patted the shoulder of the high-school student and pointed to me. He just nodded and walked towards me, then the both of us headed up stairs to my room. So it's final then...
"What are you doing?" he asked as I finally got a bag that I thought will fit all of my stuff
"I'm packing" I answered. I started taking my clothes from the wardrobe and put it in the bag
"Why do you expect that you're leaving?" he asked another question
"It was already obvious. Also, I could already tell that she was planning to leave me behind. She always does that, but I seem to find her quite easily" I find his eyes turned wide for a second there. The old man then arrived with Polnareff-san, and the old man was trying to tell me slowly about the situation, but I just told him that I understand.

I stayed at the Kujo mansion for a while, which was only a two stations down from my previous 'home'. There, I met Joseph-san's daughter, Holly Kujo. It feels to be treated me like a daughter though, but I still help around the house to show my gratitude. We stayed there for a few days since they still need to fix some papers for me to go to America. I then asked them one night about the lurking spirit with me, and the spirit with Jotaro-san. They told me all about stands and that my Stand manifested, which happened all of a sudden, during Uncle Noriaki's funeral.
