Yugi's POV

I had allowed Yami to have control, it was a traditional we did. Once a week I would give Yami control over my body for the entire. Someone suddenly leapt into our path "Pharaoh duel me!" The guy screamed. 《Uh...》 "I don't have time to duel with crazy people!" Yami replied before walking past the man. "You will duel me one way or another" the man said sinisterly before I felt my soul being yanked away from Yami. I was trapped in a soul prison card. "Yugi!" Yami shouted. The man held up the card so Yami could see "if you want your precious hikari back then meet me at warehouse 32 in an hour or you'll never see your friend again!" He said before disappearing.

Yami's POV

I watched horrified as Yugi's soul was yanked from me and sealed in a soul prison card. "Yugi!" I shouted. The man held up the card so I could see "if you want your precious hikari back then meet me at warehouse 32 in an hour or you'll never see your friend again!" He said before disappearing. I stood there shocked, he took Yugi. I looked up as Anzu, Jonouchi and Honda walked up "What's wrong Yami?" Anzu asked concerned. I looked at her sadly "someone just stole Yugi's soul" I replied. "What, why?!" Jonouchi shouted angrily. "Because they wanted to duel with me" I said. "Where did they take Yugi?" Anzu asked. "Warehouse 32" I responded. "Well let's go" Jonouchi said before heading in the direction of the warehouses. "Jonouchi! Even if we run it will still be an hour and a half walk, he only gave me an hour to reach the warehouse. If I don't get there in time he'll destroy Yugi's soul!" I shouted. "What?! That's not enough time! We won't be able to save Yugi without help!" Anzu growled. I suddenly felt a weird yet familiar feeling wash over me. My size increased and I realized I was now a dragon "Warren!?" I shouted. "Don't just stand here, go rescue your hikari!" Warren shouted back. I lowered one of my wings "climb on" I told my friends. As soon as they were secure I took off towards the warehouse. I made it there in 10 minutes 'I owe you Warren' I thought before I was changed back to normal. "I'm here, where's my hikari!?" I growled. The man stepped out "My name is Devon by the way" he smirked. "Where's Yugi?!" I growled. Devon smiled before leading us inside the warehouse, where I saw Yugi's soul trapped in a holding cell. "The runt somehow managed to destroy his soul prison card, so I sealed him a soul cell" Devon explained. Yugi was growling angrily as he glared at Devon. "Jeez, what did you do that made him so angry. It's difficult to anger but he usually calms down quickly" I questioned. "I called you a pathetic pharaoh, I said Anzu was an annoying bitch, Jonouchi was a stupid chihuahu and Honda was a worthless idiot" he replied, Yugi slammed against the glass seething with rage. "how dare you!" I growled. "Shut up and duel!" He commanded. "Fine!" I replied

I was close to winning but Devon pulled a dirty move and insulted Yugi, this caused my anger to get the better of me. I made a mistake and it cost me the duel. "Gah! I lost!" I shouted angrily. I looked at Yugi sadly, "I'm sorry aibou" I said. "You won, so what are you going to do with Yugi?" I asked. He smirked wickedly "his soul will slowly be consumed by the darkness, he'll suffer the entire time" he sneered. I growled angrily "I'll duel you for little Yugi's soul" a familiar voice said. "Kaiba?" I questioned. "If I win then you will free his soul but if I lose you can take my soul too" he bargained. Devon grinned "the soul of the great Seto Kaiba, you have yourself a deal!" Devon replied.

[Time skip]

"Behold my ultimate blue eyes white dragon!" Kaiba shouted. Devon panicked "ah! That's not possible!" He said as the dragon destroyed the rest of his life points. "Thank you Seto, I owe you" I said before Yugi's soul returned to the puzzle. 《Aibou!》 *I'm so sorry that this happened* 《it's not your fault, the guy's a psychopath》 *true* I purred happily. "It's the least I could do after the way I treated you when we first met" Kaiba replied. I smiled "we've forgiven you" I said. "How did you know we were here?" Anzu asked. "Bakura overheard your conversation and told me" Seto replied. Said person walked in "I was worried that you would lose your temper and make a mistake that would cost you" Bakura said. "Wow, am I really that predictable?" I asked. "No but I knew Devon would cheat by attacking what you care about the most, your hikari" Bakura replied. "All yamis care about their hikaris, some more than others" Marik said as he walked in. I growled "you're not welcome here after what you did to Yugi!" I shouted. "Ya I figured but I don't have my millennium rod with me, I left it at home as punishment for Malik" Marik replied. "Well as long as Malik isn't with you then you're welcome here" I said. Bakura looked at Marik "you want to go see a movie later?" He asked the hikari. I looked confused "are you two together?" I asked curious. "Yes, after realizing that Yugi liked you instead, we decided to give dating a try and now we're together" Bakura replied. "Well good for you, I'm glad you're happy" I responded. 《mou hitori no boku, I'm tired》 *it's been a while since you've called me that. Just sleep aibou* my only response was light snoring, I chuckled. "Speaking of hikaris, why hasn't Yugi taken back control?" Kaiba asked concerned. "He's exhausted, after everything he's been through, he really needs the sleep" I replied. "Come on, I'll give you a lift home" Seto said.

[Time skip]

Kaiba dropped me off last "good night Yami, tell Yugi I said good night" Kaiba said before driving off. *Kaiba said good night aibou* 《(yawning) ok, goo...d...nigh....t》 *you're so adorable* I said before going to sleep.
