Bad memories / illness

By this time myself and Richard had been together a year and it had been 8 years since I broke up with me last boyfriend that verbally abused me and called me names .

One night I'm lying in bed next to Richard and I awoke screaming Richard awoke " Georgia what is it my angel"? He said trying to find the lamp switch, "Georgia darling tell me"! Richard begs I sobbed " he's here he's here"? "Georgia darling tell me otherwise I can't help can I"! He begged again  I was still sobbing so hard I was heaving. Richard got out if bed and bent down to my level " Sweetheart look at me it's me Richard no one else it's just me, I screamed "HE'S COMING TO GET ME"! Richard replied " alright angel now tell me I try to tell him " Greg my ex boyfriend"!
Richard says " This is the ex boyfriend that verbally abused you isn't it that's why you've had nightmare Georgia look at me  (Richard placing his hand around the back of head) here's not here sweetie I WILL NOT let you come to any harm i swear to god I WILL NOT"!

Next morning I find it harder to sleep I'm up at like 5am in the morning because I cannot sleep because of that nightmare and I know I put Richard through hell last night the least I can do is ........ Make him a coffee and  say sorry. Suddenly I heard thumping down the stairs " Your Coffees on the side there Rich I'm sorry I caused a bother last night"! Richard smiled " Angel it wasn't you I'm worried about you through I'm going to call Lucy to come and keep you company whilst I'm at work"! I try to reassure him I'll be fine on my own (I knew I wasn't) "I will be fine on my own honestly"! Richard insists I have Lucy otherwise he's taking me to the doctors.

Richard walks towards me and plants a kiss on my forehead " I will see you later sweetheart if you get fretting I've told Lucy to ring me right"! I nodded with my cuppa in my hands and dressing gown on and pj's I just felt like ........ crap. Suddenly Lucy came bursting through, " Georgia sweetie what's up no actually stupid question Richards told me what's wrong with you"! I sobbed " Has he"? " Well I kinda had a bad nightmare last nightmare"! Replied I to Lucy. " Well why don't we get you out"? I replied " I don't feel like going to out"! Lucy replied " nonsense you're going out come on let's you out"! I shout " No Luc I don't want to he's out there"! I tried to climb the steps to Richards bedroom where I locked the door as I was scared stiff of seeing the light. "I try to open Richards blind but I can't"! Thought I to myself luc climbed the stairs to Richards bedroom " Georgia are you alright"! Says Luc I reply to luc " yes I'm fine just picking up some clothes to put on"! Lucy then said " okay I'll let be downstairs"! I tried to drag a pair of shoes Jeans sweater and blazer out of the Warbobe but I just sat down on the bed sobbing luc pretended that she downstairs but she was a actually on the stairs. Step knocked the bedroom door, " Georgia darling are you OK"? I try to make myself sound alright but my voice kept breaking Lucy heard enough "  Right I'm ringing Richard"! I heard her drilling Richards phone call.
I heard his voice "Hey ya Luc what's wrong"? Replied Richard Lucy said " It's Georgia she's locked herself in your bedroom"! Richard replied " okay I'm coming now I'll tell the director I'll have to go back home because I've left my script at home"! Lucy replied " nonsense don't lie"! Richard replied " I have to I cannot tell him the real reason can i"! Replied Richard.

I heard Richards car pull on the drive, " oh god Richards going to shout at me"! Richard opened the door and saw Lucy standing there at the I top of the steps trying to get Georgia to come out. Richard went upstairs and knocked on the door " Georgia darling it's Richard come on darling open the door"! Georgia replied " No it's him"! Richard tries to coax her out of the bedroom " Darling come on for me"! I shout back " I'm not coming back out he's out there and he's coming to get me"! Richard shook his head " Georgia darling just open the door and we can talk about this"! I tried to insist that there was nothing wrong with me. " honestly Rich you go back to work I'm fine"! Richard replied " No your not now come on darling now open the door for me"! I couldn't keep this up being locked up in the bedroom in the dark so I opened the bedroom door.

Richard says " oh my god you have got yourself into a right state haven't you"? I try nodding my head Richard is bent down as I'm sat on the bed Lucy came running upstairs " Richard how is she"? Richard left me sat on the bed as he got up to speak to Lucy " I'm going to have to Georgia to the doctors or to A&E (Accident and Emergency) I can't have been like this I heard him " Richard no doctors"! My hair was all over the place he came back in the room " oh sweetie your going to the doctors I do not give a monkeys you're going and I'm going with you"! I try an plead again with him but it does not good at all"! " "no arguments Georgia you're going and that's it"! Says Richard.

Richard walked me down the stairs by my hand, " Come on darling come on downstairs"! He lead me gently by the hand down the steps I to lounge I was still shivering with cold, " I'm doing you some soup put this around her I'll put the fire on"! Says he. Lucy said " I have to go now but I will see you soon Georgia do as Richard tells you"! Richard waved her off she got into the car and drove off. He messaged his director and he didn't have time to come back as Georgia's unwell.

Richard sat next to me " Have you had anything to eat today"? I say " No I haven't eaten all day I didn't feel like it"! Richard replied " Well it's just as well I've made you some soup then isn't it eh"! I didn't want him to hate him for dragging him away from his work i tried to talk but Richard hushed me, " shh shh now come on try and eat this if you can my darling I interrupted him " I'm sorry for this much fuss over being silly I've dragged you away from your work and I shouldn't have"! He gently strokes my cheek " shh shh don't be silly you're unwell my angel truly I'd rather be taking care of you then standing out there in the freezing cold weather"! I then said " aren't we supposed to be going to my mums for Christmas eve"? Richard whispered " Let's get you well again first shall we eh don't walk before you learn to run my angel I will ring her and tell that you are not feeling very well too unwell to travel"! Whispers he gently to him before he kisses passionately.
I sat trying to eat my soup but I couldn't " I can't"! Richard says " Come on darling try one mouth full for me"! I put the spoon in my mouth and then I struggled to swallow the soup as my mouth was so dry I heaved as I tried to swallow it.

The next thing I know Richards phoning the doctors, to book me an appointment Im scared of the doctors Richard said " You've got a doctor's appointment tomorrow Dr carver he's my doctor trust me"! I tried saying " They can't do nothing it's a mental illness you can't see it Richard"! Richard sat next to me " nonsense my darling you are going I'll be there to help you"! Said he stroking my cheek the warmth of Richards hand kept my cheeks warm.
He held me tight in his arms, suddenly he kissed my forehead and said " I love you Georgia"! I heard he's voice breaking, it wad truly upsetting to see him like this because of me"!
